My boyfriend is going away for a week?

Okay my boyfriend is going away for a week and its our first time really apart like that with no contact. He says he will miss me but he doesn't seem that upset. every time he brings it up I get knots in my stomach. He acts like its no big deal. I feel like a stupid girl in love. Am I being stupid?

1 week seems like / is a big deal at that age. *Technology is your friend for ANY relationship forced to have distance/time apart.* there are AMAZING things that just weren't possible 10-20 years ago.

i haven't used it, but there's an app called Avocado -- there are others in that category too -- it's like 'Facebook for 2'... just you & your man thang. calls/pictures/write as much as you guys care/can.

feeling stupid for being in love can be like feeling bad for winning the grand prize lol -- it ain't stupid to fall & keep falling in love - I recommend trying to get him to 'meet you here' (where you're feeling that) rather than numbing out to him. Good Luck - a little time away makes time together that much better, don't freak out - men are trainable hahaha. if he's not feeling the level of love you want now, you can slowly (over months or whatever) get him up to (or toward) your level. it's *not stupid* to fall & keep falling deeply in love =)
