Girls, why would you act bitchy and sarcastic towards a guy one minute and then talk to him normally the next?

What does it mean? This girl can be a bit bitchy towards me, I don't really care I just let it go but then she starts acting nice and talking and joking with me. when she is bitchy I take it as a sign to leave her alone but then she tries to get me to talk to her and then when I start talking, she acts all annoyed and later starts talking to me again.

SHe is a nice girl and I don't really want to tell her to back off and be a jerk, I just wonder why she does it? SHe doesn't do it to anybody else and one time I asked her why she was so different and she said "well, they aren't you, that's why" but if I'm so annoying, why keep talking to me, I don't get it.

Hmm maybe she feels like you're a nice enough guy so she can act that way with you? My sister can act horribly to her boyfriend sometimes and they've been dating for almost 2 years, but I don't think she was that way in the start of the relationship. I think it's sort of like how a married couple will start to be more mean towards each other once they get married because they're not afraid of breaking up as much, since it'd take more to get you to divorce someone than to just break up with someone. Or maybe she thinks you're a push over and can act that way with you. Do you know her well? Has she always been this way with you or after you guys got to know each other?

Well, when I met her she was kinda shy and quiet and I just started talking to her. After she got used to it she started doing this. I've seen her with her friends (some of them mutual) and she does not act like this with them, she is always nice and smiling and laughing. Like you said, we know each other so well that is kind of like a married couple arguing, we'll get mad at each other and then talk again and it seems that its because we argue so much that she acts different towards me at times

Yeah, she could just feel comfortable enough to do that with you then. Or maybe she does it with her friends but you've just never seen it? It's also possible that she likes you and is trying to flirt with you but instead of teasing you she ends up arguing. Or if she does like you this could be her way of hiding her feelings for you. You could try asking a mutual friend about why she does it.

I am sorry we can be so confusing. Pretty much she does it because she likes you and doesn't know how to deal with it. She wants you to know but at the same time she doesn't. Also stop letting her treat you like this put your foot down and tell her to take a chill pill. She needs to realize her actions aren't helping her.

Well, it doesn't really sound like she is being serious, but she acts "difficult" towards me a lot. Our friends always bring up how we argue like a married couple (we do it all the time) and when its with her I don't really mind it, its fun. If she is flirting, I wish she would be a little "nicer", I'm used to her being like that and maybe she knows I respond well when she does it, but I feel left out when she is nice to everybody but me. OR she could just be crazy
