Girls, if you keep calling a guy names (playfully), what does it mean?

Let's say you have a long list of names you keep calling a guy. You make him seem so flawed that its a wonder he has any friends. Of course, you do it playfully and most people actually respect him but you do it so often and so heavy, that it really stands out. She tells me nobody calls me that stuff (nerd, annoying, pretentious, big headed) because they don't know me and for a girl who actually is quiet and innocent looking when she is with people, makes me wonder if I'm really that flawed lol.

For some reason she keeps talking to me even with all those names and she initiates conversation, so what is really going on?

tell her that it might be fun for her to call you names, but that uf she really thinks that of you then she shouldn't be mean.

She might be interested if she pays a lot of attention to you, but might not find a way to express it correctly.

She's bustin' your balls, man. Could be a good sign, just play along with her. Retaliate with a witty comeback every now and then to show that you can fight back when you really want to. (Of course, this is to be done all playfully.)

Yeah, I do that and we do it in such a way that it seems rehearsed, but the remarks are improvised, its a lot of fun but I've been wondering why she does it only to me and well, we are both in college and name calling seems a little juvenile lol

Assuming she likes you, it may mean she's unsure of how to approach you so she messes around with you instead. (Maybe you gave her a first impression of being a fun sarcastic guy.) If you like her back, you're going to have to redirect the playful mood a bit to work into your favor, which ultimately means having to ask her to hang out with you somewhere and at some point so you guys can actually have a decent conversation not bombarded with "rehearsed" teasing and name-calling.

I have to say that, the funny thing, is that we do have that and we know each other pretty well. I mean, she can remember stuff I did or even recite from memory stuff I've told her in the past. We do get along but at the same time, she just keeps messing with me and at the same time, some days she'll be all quiet, so I don't know :/

Then it's possible that she's just playful by nature. She may have seemed shy to others, but that's probably because she's learned to open up to you more and be more like herself. It's not necessarily a bad thing. My only concern is that you let this go on as nothing but playful teasing, at some point one of you's gonna get bored or start wondering when someone's gonna make the first move. Why don't you be that someone?
