Why do older men stare at me?

This is a strange question but I've noticed a few times I'll be out shopping or something and I'll look up and there will be an older man (usually 30-60) that has been staring at me and they will give me this creepy smile. It really confuses me because I always wonder if they think I'm weird or pretty or what. Have any girls had this experience? Or any older guys? It makes me very uncomfortable because it's not like a flirty glance but something much creepier. I'm 19 by the way.

personally I have a hard time telling how old someone is so I've lived by the rule look but ton't touch unless you know they are in your age range. I'll be 29 in about 5 weeks my age range for how old I would like a Girlfriend to be is 24or25 to 31.

I do check out younger girls and I try my best not to look like a creep but I guess any older guy will come off as a creep for looking at anyone who might be more than 5 years younger than them and even that might be a bit much for people who only date someone who is the same age as they are..

I've had this happen to me several times and I feel uncomfortable as well. I do not know why they do it either, but maybe the glance is supposed to be flirty and we just think it's creepy. I think that maybe they were checking us out and when we caught them looking they tried to smile without looking like a pedophile but then it turned out to be creepy. That's all I can really think of. Even though it makes me uncomfortable, I try not to worry about it and just go on with what I'm doing. I hope I helped!

I think that older guys like younger girls. But for me I get hit on by older guys an it creeps me out a lot and I really don't understand because guys that are my age they don't even pay me no attention and also teenagers which is pretty weird too.
