I'm 15 and there's a man in my neighbourhood who stares at me angrily. I don't know him personally but he's a gang member and probably in his 40's and has a daughter around the same age as me. The first time this started was 2 weeks ago when my mom, older sister and I were walking by and he was standing outside a small shop in the neighborhood. My mom and sis was walking side by side and I was quite a bit behind them. The man started staring from afar with a fixated gaze only at me. then when my sis and mom passed him he walked farther out to block my path halfway while staring intensely. i looked and him and he didn't look away. he keep following me with his eyes while squinting angrily. it happened again when I saw him. he was doing construction work and when he saw me he stopped and did the same thing. This kept happening everytime I saw him. there was even a time when he was by the shop and he was holding something black (i suspect a weapon) and it's like he wanted me to see it. But here's the thing, i was walking with my mom side by side when i saw him and he looked at me normal. He didn't stare me down when anyone else was with me, he only did it when i was alone. I got tired of it and told my cousin because she is friends with the man's daughter. My cousin laughed which I suspect she thinks I'm crazy. I then told my sister and she asked if I'm delusional. I broke down crying wondering if I really I'm crazy. im scared to tell my mom because she'll probably think the same thing. but I can't lie he's one of the most popular and 'nicest' guy in the neighborhood (at least that's what everyone else thinks) I don't even know what he wants from me but I just want to give him it so he will leave me alone. Why is he doing this to me?

OH HELL NO. No 40yo MALE should be staring at you 15yo girl. This is what predators do. They try to get close to you, by befriending your closest people.
Let me tell you something about ALL MEN. All men are horny 24/7. An old man like that, shouldn’t be staring at someone your age. Hell. Not even an 18-20 year old should be, because you’re a minor!!! It’s illegal.
That man “male” is probably thinking something sexual. Because they can’t help it. All men “males” have this hormone called “testosterone”. Basically it makes them all think dirty no matter what. ALL THE DEING TIME!
If you ever go to a public gym. Or if a parent takes you to a gym. You’re gonna see exactly what I’m talking about. You’ll see these predators staring & gazing at you for hours!

Tell your mother immediately! Tell her everything. How long it’s been happening. Where, When & Why. Dates. Times. To the last detail. Like you’re a detective yourself. Your mother naturally has a motherly instinct. She won’t judge you because she’s the one who brought to to life. Her sole job is protect you.
Thankgoodness you caught that soon. God knows what he’s doing to his own daughter. It doesn’t matter if he staring at you; angry, sad, happy. Thing is, he’s staring at you when no one’s looking. That shouldn’t be happening.
