I went on a date 2 days ago, it was way up there in comparison to previous first dates. We just clicked instantly. We ended up spending 7 hours together, visited 3 different locations. There were no silent moments, I smiled until my cheeks hurt. He didn't directly flirt with me but would tell me that he's so shocked by my intellect and how well we connect and when time ran away from us he told me that he didn't want to leave, that he really wants to see me again. There were moments where I'd express an oddly specific opinion/perspective on a topic and his mouth would drop, and he'd ask where I came from as if I'd just stolen the words out of his mouth. We didn't kiss, but he sat and played guitar for me and swooned over my music taste and my philosophies and every little thing we have in common. I really FELT the connection. He's also a creative, and more of a doer than just a talker. There's enough evidence to back that up. He told me he finds me attractive, too.

Here's the problem though...

He told me that his last relationship ended 6 months ago partially because he is so dedicated to his craft that sometimes he'll put his phone down for days at a time to finish a piece, that he isn't much of a texter, and that girls don't understand this about him and it causes tension. Fair enough, I thought it made sense. But on the date he showed me some of his artworks hidden in his chats and i didn't see much but he didn't look like a bad texter. Even so, ever since our date, ever since he told me how he's so ridiculously keen to see me again and we're going to make all these plans together, I've hardly heard from him. This morning for example after I texted first he exchanged 2 messages asking about how my work has been going, then ignored me for the last 13 hours. He's been actively posting on his business account, and I can see his online status on whatsapp now and then when I check, and I'm just so confused. I thought it went so well? Am I overthinking this?

Have you ever successfully or unsuccessfully (ie cut yourself) caught a falling knife?

Whats your minimum and maximum age limit? I’m getting back into online dating and the majority of people on dating apps are likely to be younger but I’m 25 and the idea of dating a 20 year old just doesn’t sit well with me. But I will also get men over 50 wanting to connect and that’s a little beyond my desired scope but feels more natural than dating younger. I’m curious to know how others feel about age gaps.

Whether in friendships, relationship, fake lottery notice or whatever, they make people invest their emotion, time and/or money and played with others' feelings. They are good liars too.

Were they also an innocent, normal child at some point in their lives? Did something terrible happen to them? Or are they natural users and were born like that from the get go?

Man i like all. Ideally i’d prefer the stang but I really was hoping for a CD player. Then i really like the pink boombox but i hate its not a record player. Then i love the graffiti boombox but i hate its got the volume but not my cd nor record player. Gosh im toooorn! And yes i still love blasting cds and the radio! Leave me alooooone lmao. I dont own any records yet and am afraid to buy a record player because it may start a new addiction (i have a collection of 300 cds and counting.) The jukebox is probably my least fave but its so adorable! I used to love those things at pizzahut. I want a jumbo jukebox but refuse to pay that much for something that isn't portable. If it was on wheels, i’d totally buy!! I think option B is all of the above but its kinda the least appealing to look at 😭 #FeelFreeToList

Let's say you go to a small gym that is a free amenity for residents of your building. There is no staff working there. It is open 8am - 10pm.

You walk in and there is one other person already there. They are working out.

The lights are on, but not all the lights. There are two light switches on the wall and there is always the option to turn on one or both switches, which is either all lights, or half the lights. In both cases, you can see the gym and equipment clearly. You can see all the numbers on the equipment. There is nothing you can't see but the light is overall a bit dimmer.

The question is: When you walk in...
Do you leave the lights as they are... ask the other person... or just turn all the lights on?

(And yep, this keeps happening that four different girls have come in and wanted all the lights on. Some ask first, some just turn them on, but none of them seem to respect the fact that we are already there, and like some people, prefer not all lights on. It feels like a hospital when they're all on. And it's not a safety issue. It's not much darker with just the one light switch on. There are mirrors on one wall and security cameras on and a F/T building staff in the lobby who keeps an eye on all camera feeds.
It doesn't happen with guys. Guys don't make any changes. They either prefer less lights on, or they adapt to the situation and whatever the other person has selected.)

My sister came to visit me for the holidays she forgot to flush and left a mess in the bathroom and the mgr said she was speeding so naturally I was pissed and screamed yelled in her face and slammed the door and said there has been like a hundred complaints against her the cops were coming and her car was being towed. She starts sobbing goes to talk to the mgr and the mgr said that she did not say that she just needs to slow down a little. Then I started screaming because I was running late for my hair appointment. They decided to leave and stay at his families for Thanksgiving can you believe that?

Let's say somehow, despite all evidence to the contrary, there exists a God. And just like the old book says, He is vengeful. Do you really want to spend all of your time dutifully manipulating His Holy Privates with your lips & tongue? VOTE!

I love coffee, it would be very hard for me to give it up, meanwhile I rarely drink any alcohol so I think it would be easier for me to give it up.
