I dated a very beautiful girl 😭, she was so unique and from my culture. She had fair skin and bright green eyes. Never seen anything like her in my life omg. How was she real?

We got on so well, great chemistry, same career. Parents liked me. My parents liked her. Insane compatibility.

Then at the end we were arguing. I was a good guy to her but made some poor decisions at the end like judged her a bit and may have been a bit abrupt. I am inexperienced being my first relationship. Then she dropped me like a hot potato.

It’s been a couple months and damn I can’t take it. I miss her like crazy. She was loving and sweet to me.

now that I look back I find it kinda ironic that they didn't want us to play that game yet this toy was pretty common in the 90s.

I mean if you ask me, wasn't this no different then telling children "not to play basketball" before sending them to play in a place where there is a basketball hoop in plain site?

I get it, not everyone is going to like or agree with you're question or opinion and that's fine, but some users I've noticed, have the mindset, that any opinion/question they don't like/agree with isn't genuine and will automatically be hateful and mean towards the opinion/question and the person posting the opinion/question and will often times will block leaving yourself unable to explain you're opinion/question or provide details that support your opinion/question. This isn't an issue with just politics, it's an issue with other topics as well.

yes , they will lower voting age to 16, this will give them millions and millions of more votes each election. Do you think 16 and 17 year olds should have the right to vote? Will this insure Democrats stay in power?

Most likely PR will become a state , DC will become a state , adding 4 Democrat Senators and 3 or 4 Democrats to the House. Are you for adding states? Will Republicans ever control the House or Senate again? With what Trump has done, do Republicans really deserve to have that much power ever again?

Are you for age limits? 30 to 75 ? No more than 50 years?

If you reach either awkward silences or any awkwardness at all do you take that as a sign the date isn’t going well?

I just finished a book and it got me thinking about this. What do you think?

I could not understand why I'm being told I'm not being "cultural" enough as a kid. Sit straight, legs down. Etc.

Truth be told, when you're yelled at for not sitting right in a way that feels life threatening, it only makes your body involuntarily curl up and put your feet up again. That's just fear response.

Well that's my oldest memory of eating food, a daily occurrence.

But then you do learn to sit straight but you chew really really really fast. And you have old people tell you SLOW DOWN, MY DOCTOR TOLD ME TO CHEW SLOWLY, IT IS HEALTHIER.

I assume that means, when they were younger they lived through the same shit.

And then i would hear on podcasts how chewing slowly makes us digest food better. So? Self torment. Just move like a robot. Sudden movements and pauses. Of course i am exaggerating. And i have to, because i am fully certain that more people in the world do a degree of this than not.

And that is the difference between eating and devouring: baseline stress levels. You think you're fine. You truly do. But your body does not.

And, by the way, i really really hope someone will listen to this piece of advice: Never say "I'm fine" if you have even a smallest, quantum sized doubt that you are.

If you do, we cannot be friends. But you are allowed to say "i just don't know, i do not feel at ease."

Not because i haven't figured it out already. But because it is a lie and is harmful to both parties.

But back to the main topic. I LOATHE devouring food greedily. It disgusts me. As soon as i take a bite too huge, i lose appetite, i remember my dad and his friends devouring foodstuff like pigs. Feeling a sense of disgust is good, feel as much of it as you can to train your body not to repeat it. But it isn't not enough, you also need honesty.

For many years i struggled to be different. Now, i am relaxed and perfectly doing the "cultural" thing they all tried to mimic and failed. Just relax and slowly, quietly eat your biologically blessed food.

Do you think people who support democratic socialism are usually thinking independently, or are they mainly influenced by ideological framing?

My answer is indoctrination.

That does not mean every supporter is stupid or incapable of thinking. It means democratic socialism is often presented through a very selective moral and economic framework.

People hear slogans like “tax the rich,” “free healthcare,” “free college,” and “healthcare is a human right,” but they are rarely forced to answer what happens after the slogan.

The Nordic model, for example, is not funded only by billionaires and corporations. Countries like Denmark and Sweden fund large welfare states through broad-based taxation, high consumer taxes like VAT, and heavy taxes on the middle class. That part is usually left out.

There is also opportunity cost. Money directed through government cannot also be used by families, businesses, churches, charities, investors, entrepreneurs, or local communities. Every government program consumes resources that could have been used elsewhere.

And then there are incentives. If you punish productivity, investment, risk-taking, and success too heavily, you eventually get less of those things.

My issue is that many people are taught capitalism’s failures while government failure is ignored. Markets can fail, yes. But bureaucracies fail too. Politicians have incentives. Agencies protect themselves. Programs grow beyond their original purpose.

So yes, I see support for democratic socialism as more indoctrination than independent economic reasoning—not because every supporter is unintelligent, but because the ideology is often taught with the costs, tradeoffs, and government failures conveniently minimized.

Do you think women who reject modern feminism are thinking for themselves, or are they mainly indoctrinated?

My answer is independent.

Rejecting modern feminism does not automatically mean a woman is indoctrinated. In many cases, it can actually reflect independent thinking, because modern culture often treats feminist assumptions as the default and socially acceptable position.

Many women critically evaluate modern feminist narratives and conclude that those ideas do not align with their values, life goals, faith, or lived experiences. Choosing motherhood, family, traditional gender roles, modesty, or complementarian beliefs does not make a woman less capable of thinking for herself. She may simply have examined the arguments and reached different conclusions.

True independence means having the freedom to define empowerment and success on your own terms, not only within frameworks approved by mainstream ideology.

Too often, calling anti-feminist women “indoctrinated” just means, “I respect women’s choices only when they choose what I approve of.”

That is not empowerment. That is ideological gatekeeping.
