Refuted by whom, if you don't mind me asking? An alpha is commonly referred to as the leader of the pack when it comes to animals. With humans it's usually interpreted as the fine, confident self-made man who does well with the ladies and in that regard is ahead of their peers.
I think of alpha male with guys as a controlling dick with an ego that needs to be shaved

Here's an article I searched up, I remember reading a better article a while back but can't find it now. The alpha male idea came from studies of wolves, but that study has been refuted and the scientist who did the study even walked back
I realize there's a difference between an alpha male in humans and the one I'm talking about. I still think it's a silly term that only serves to make the guys calling himself one sound like a douche

Thanks. I agree on the term being not all it's cracked up to be. But honestly, most people I've seen disliking the term simply aren't all that confident themselves. Not suggesting you are! Anyway, I'll have a good look at the article when I wake up, gotta sleep early today.

And opinion owner, if you read the article closely you would see in the very title that all it is refuting is the Alpha wolf (and not well mind you) the reality is there is a constant struggle to be the alpha in the wolf packs, and it is very clear who is alpha and who is contending. Alpha exists in many different animals, including the human animal.

The reason it's important is because the term alpha male comes from studying Wolves in the first place.
How many wolf packs have you observed? Me personally, if an animal behaviorist is saying that there is no alpha wolf, I'm gonna take him at his word since I haven't been around any wolf packs myself to know.
the researchers went and studied wolves in the wild and found there was no sense of rank in the packs. They were just families with the parents usually being dominant, not necessarily the strongest wolf and there was no struggle to become alpha.
I never studied wolves but I own 3 huskies and a have had 6 dogs in my life, and I have watched several wolf documentaries like "living with wolves" and that guy lived for years with wolves and still says a lot about the alpha. Dogs evolved from wolves, and even they show very clear signs of rank and alpha qualities. Anyway, It also doesn't really matter where the term came from, it now has a definition, and people who fit into those definitions. It is hard to argue against really. Also Lion very clearly show alpha, and monkeys, gorillas, walruses, etc.

Great advice. so many guys don't know how to fuckin dress for a date. like good lord. Act like you at least care about how you look once in a fuckin while. Also, pay for the date, that shouldn't be up for discussion. Most of the dudes on here vehemently rebel against the idea of paying for a woman on a date, citing feminism and other types of bullshit; well if you think about it, there's a reason they're on here complaining about it vs hanging out with a beautiful woman

So it's not that I'm saying being a male slut is what makes a guy alpha. I'm saying women throw themselves at men they perceive as alpha with such shameless, wild, animalistic abandon that it would make anybody who knew them, like their family or childhood friends, look a them in abject shock and stunned disbelief.
I'm saying the eye has not seen, the ear has not heard, the depths that most women will sink to when their lust takes control of them is just inconceivable. So most alpha males are basically groomed by girls and older women during their formative years to be free and easy about sex. Of course a man may choose to pursue a chaste life, and still be an alpha male, but. . . statistically, how many guys do you think turn down a free river of hot pussy coming at them every fucking day, everywhere they look, beating, pleading, needing. . .
This gets into the difference between a real, actual alpha male, versus a woman's idea of who is an alpha and who is a beta. . . Remember that women force these classifications on men, (even though they EXPRESSLY say that they don't.) so when I use these terms, I'm using a bastardized male term for what is originally a female concept, a female mating classification. It's more a reflection of female perceptions than male behavior.

I'd say that Aaron gives good advice when it comes to clothing, but most of the other stuff he talks about are either common knowledge, or aren't really correct. And you can see by the way he talks that he kinda acts a little gay, so I would say he hasn't mastered the behavior aspect of being a man himself, at least not yet, so I don't think he should really talk much about that side.

The guy who coined the term "Alpha Male" for human beings recanted his words later on. They don't exist. Anyone that uses the term outside of debunking that shit usually loses all respect from me. Load of bull.
