It's different for each gender.

We men literally need less than five seconds to decide if a woman is attractive and we would like to date her. Men and Women are very different when it comes to arousal, attraction and sex. For men, attraction and arousal are very closely connected and if a guy is attracted to you, he will be aroused by you if you hit on him. Period. For a woman obviously it's different but since you are a woman, no need to go there.

Simply put, at any point you realize you like the guy you just have to flirt with him, touch him. Be sexy and provocative, and be direct. It may shock him at first but the end result will be he will fuck you.

If he's the rare genetic anomaly that he won't do this, then believe me you don't want him because he is fucked up and he WILL be a problem later on. Move on find someone else at that point.

My current girlfriend tried to "friend zone" me. For whatever reason, she didn't want to commit. She showed all the signs, but she just wasn't coming around. There is one scenario though that happens often that you can do nothing about. Many "friendshipzones" happen in social circles (I. e you know of the girl/guy that you crushing on in the group) but one of your friends is way hotter or richer than you, and all the love goes his/her way. You are in their shadow. My one best friend was a master player and was a 10 in terms of guy looks. Every girl I liked went for him, and I was that friend of the group. That's a shit position.

How to avoid the friendzone: Don't allow girls (or boys) to put you in the friendzone. If they "friendzone" you, then just severe the cord and be done with it. @Secret22, you need to be good looking to get your foot in the door. if you want to date an ugly fat girl looks probably won't matter much but if you want to date a girl who many other guys find attractive, 99% of the time you yourself will need to match her in the looks department as well
