As someone who had a girlfriend who got molested by her best guy friend its not right to be alone with members of the opposite sex especially when drinking or it they ever hit on you. Its one thing if mutual friend mike hangs out with you but once mike says hey id fuck you its not acceptable anymore. If you think it is ill go hang out with a prostitute. What you dont trust me?
I'm no one's property. So I would never be «his» to begin with. You gave what you advertised from the beginning: the POV of a girl from a traditional background
The trick is to let women do whatever they want. If you love something set it free and if it comes back to you its yours to keep or whatever. If they want to cheat, let them. There are better women.
In response to Mytake: Wow parents are really strict. I think guys shouldn't be jealous of girls being approach by other guys if you know at the end of the day she's coming home with you. Now, if she's being flirty that's not necessarily a bad thing. Guys tend to flirt in front of their girlfriend too. They do this to show the person in relationship that they are of high value by other mates in society and therefore confirm/acknowledge to them how lucky they should be to be in a relationship with them.
It's a power dynamic that makes people not take the other for granted which sometimes leads to breakups.

exactly how it is, if the dude got his head on straight. we know other guys don't always and that's the problem
"Thanks for reading/understanding! - or not understanding - but at least I tried."
I assume you meant understanding your personal point of view. As much as we like what we got to say, that doesn't make it the law of the land.

Your basically saying its just in case he's a rapist.
I think that not trusting people by default is a bad approach.
A flawed theory which ignores the fact that cheating requires both parties
I think a partner no matter their gender should not project his trust issues onto their partner. I can handle myself like I did all my life.
You wanna get treated like a king? Then you need to go ugly.
Well written!
I agree completely :)
