Why I hate and love Love

Love is a very controversial and subjective thing. It is in all of our hearts. It surrounds us in our life and is very important to some people and a waste of time to others. I believe love is like heat. You don't have the cold, it is just the absence of heat. No one has hatred in their hearts, just the absence of love.

Love is a powerful thing.

Love is where our passion stems from. Whether it is closer to our center or if it boils close to our surface.

I love Love for the way people feel.

Happiness, excitement, peace all stem from loving someone. If it's as a romantic interest, a friend or a family member.

Love brings so much pain and sacrafice.

If you love someone, you'd usually do anything and everything for them.

When you fully love someone, you'd want to see them happy, even if their happiness doesn't include you.

So with that, there is the pain.

Heartbreak is almost always a definite when it comes to love. You feel as if your world is crumbling to pieces in front of your very eyes. Your lungs hurt like a thousand knives with every inhale while tears pour from the things that once held nothing but happiness and pure love in them.

Love brings connections, and love can break those connections.

Love can bring two people close together, in the most intimate way. And no, not sex.

Sadly, love can break two people apart. Best friends will turn into strangers because of unrequited love, or decisions gone wrong due to love.

Love, in my opinion, is the root of most problems. Whereby it may have been from too much or a lack of.

I think all of us can agree on one thing though, Love Stinks.

I, myself believe totally in love - Sometimes here on GaG you see questions is it better to not have loved than to have loved and lost (i. e. suffer heartbreak).
Again I go to my logical place
A 100% of people start off
A couple of percent for some reason don't pursue love
A few hit gold first time and live happily ever after
Most ample along through different experiences to find happiness
Some ample through different experiences to end up alone through fate.
Some have hardships but keep going back for more
Some have hardships and become disillusioned.
Okay I think I have covered most people, the point I am making that the vast majority actively pursue love with no guarantee of success for the most part of their lives, Why because deep down we feel the rewards far outweigh any solace we have in never facing heartbreak and loneliness is a far more daunting prospect.
My last relationship ended in the crapper with me in a emotional and financial mess. I have got back on my feet financially and am working on my emotions to go back out there romantically but in any other aspect of my life I would have said "Once bitten, twice shy" but I fully expect myself to try again for the sake of love.

Indeed I agree.
Love isn't always beautiful.
It isn't a land of butterflies, fairy tales, and people living in harmony.
Love can also be ugly.
By acknowledging that love has flaws, one can conclude that love is not perfect.
It is a sea of emotions!

I think the reason why love becomes a problem is because people feel entitled, expect, or demand to get love in return from those they claim to love.

Unconditional love is the state where you give love simply because you want to. Not because you want or expect it in return.

I don't think love is hard. It's the expectations that makes it hard.
The "romantic" type of love often described is not what I consider love. It's filled with distorted ideas and expectations that actually hides the love in all that noise.

I see the state of love as stillness, clarity and freedom. There no pain in this state. But that's just my personal perspective.
