From a young age girls are taught that guys their own age aren't good enough for them. Its very normal for a 16-17 year old girl to date a 22-24 year old.

What has been said here by a couple of the guys are true.
Women begin their lives being desired so they have that expectation that it continue all their lives. That's entitlement.
Men are rejected most their lives and sometimes are desired and generally grow more desirable and they wish to enjoy a taste of that before they die.

I attract men much younger than myself. Some of them don't even know I am approaching my 30s.
With that being said, in the same breath I also attract men my age and old enough to be my grand dad. I'm at a age where I am not too old and not too young.
However, the question is how much will that change over the course of 5-15 years?
I agree with age gap relationships, I just disagree with people that prefer someone younger and they criticize people their age group. I find it hypocritical because they'd hate if someone did that to them.
age gap relationships are ridiculous, all the decent women look for a man ten to twenty years older. Most of the women who are single and older were too busy or too promiscuous to settle down in their twenties, either way good guys get passed over by the decent girls because, he's just not emotionally stable (yeah, did you see how that woman he was with just took his kids to be evil?) or did you see he was in the military deployed most of the time? Did you see that he was studying in college and he couldn't get a relationship as easy as it is for most women to his age?
Anyway we get passed over in our twenties that is if we didn't waste most of those years with a toxic woman, we hit the single market again with no idea how to get a woman, some of us try sleeping around and realize its usually subpar gross and unsatisfying and a waste of time. Oh wait, then we hit 36 or 39 and boom, suddenly messages from actually attractive 21-28 year olds? What? the irony.
Financially stable is the other reason, but many men in their twenties can be and are this but still get passed over for the older men. The occasional half-way decent hook up is all most single men can hope for. Or just nothing.
