Really? lol I'm a nice guy ( and I don't mean "nice guy" I mean genuinely nice ) and I can debunk all but one of these things lol.

There's to kinds of people, there are losers who feel sorry for themselves and blame women not flocking to them on their behavior they are labeled "nice guys" but really aren't.

And then there are genuinely nice and kind guys, a lot of whom are labeled as the first guy for no rhyme or reason just because of how they are.

How to answer this one. hmmmm... Well first of all there are no such thing as nice guys or bad guys. In my opinion what a girl sees when she meets a nice guy, is a man. What she sees in a bad guy is a boy. Now I am not saying men can't be boys or playful at times, nor biys can't be mature and be men. For instance: Nice guys are not silent, they just know how to respect a person with their words. It is not that they do not know how to talk, or dont like talking, they love talking to someone who is mature, intelligent, and can insight a sense of mystery in our minds. Attractiveness is in the eye of the beholder. Everyone has their own taste. If you are talking about looks, there are many types of looks in men. But if you are talking about being flashy or showing off wealth, then you are talking about aboy who is trying to advertise their worth. A man does not showoff their wealth. A true man has "SWAG" for a swagger. The confidence in himself without needing to show off to others. You see this all the time in President Obama when he walks in front of the white house. Unfortunately you can not use banal on another person. Everyone has their own style, their own tastes. Just because someone like football, and you dont doesn't make them banal, or boring. Or if someone likes star trek over star wars, or has any type of interest. In fact in todays society has shown an influx in a lot of interests exploding all over the world by both men and women. You will be surprised that there are a lot of comic con girls now too, and yet they may have always been there, its just now they have the freedom to express what they really like, and are now more noticable. Women can get surprised by many things. The idea that it is the job of a man to entertain a woman is right down sexist, and unrealistic. Just like it is not the job of a woman to entertain a man. No one has a right to expect someone else to entertain you, and keep you "interested". If you lack that from someone, you were never interested in that person in the first place, and should not waist their time. Nice guys aren't shy, they just prefer to be respectful. Look back up in "swag". First off nice guys, are nice, and treat women with respect. But you take advantage of a nice gesture, then you will be cast out of the possible friendship this man might provide you. Men are social animals too, and we will always respect a person first, in good faith before we judge them.

"Nice guys are silent" Just because someone is quiet doesn't necessarily mean that they are nice. I've taken time to get to know dome quiet guys, and they turned out to be dickheads. If a guy likes a girl and is incapable of ever talking to her then where does that get him in life? What's he going to do in attempt to get the girl? Lurk around after her like a peado at a playground, sit back and wait on her making the move for him because he can't? No wonder they never get far. Expecting to get a woman without even talking to her. Doesn't even come close to chatting her up. I also feel like some guys on here have never interacted with the women that they like.
Also, I've been on dates with guys who claim to be nice and they are not. They just turned out to be a bunch of horndogs only out for one thing and they were all average looking guys. Looks don't always define whither a guy is nice or not. Personality does, and if he fails to show that to women that he likes. How the hell are they to see the "nice guy in him" I feel like this is edging on gender roles again. For those guys that can't even talk to women they like. The real reason. Dating is based on value. People assign values to each other and how we perceive whether someone is on our level or higher is based on behavior, wealth, looks, social status.

THE REAL REASON.

Women are hypergamous meaning they only want to get with a man they deem better than them. When a nice guy meets a woman he often tends to use niceness to try and win her over and show to her that she is special but this does not translate to the female brain as such.

Before having sex a woman perceives a man doing nice things for her as him trying to bargain with her on why she should give him a chance. Obviously if your bargaining with someone the person who you come to has the higher ground and therefore higher perceived value. Thus, a woman in such situation will reject the nice guy advantage because hypergamy dictates you must be better than her to get those panties.

The only case this does not hold true is when there is such a large contrast in looks, social status, money in the man's favor that him being nice does not hit his chances with the woman. The reason for this is because he has enough self evident things in front of him that the woman perceives him to be of higher value to her and him being nice comes from a place of generosity rather than a place of sucking up the female's minds. Such men women often refer to as GOOD MEN.

Thus, the reason nice guys fail is because women perceive kind acts as a way of sucking up rather than actual being nice to them (this is before sex). After sex the woman has given her investment and if a man continues to be kind to her then she considers it kind acts because she believes the man has gotten what he wanted yet still persist with kind gesture so he must really be a nice person to her.
