Yep, that's true. Often the one's, who are KEEPING in the friendzone is really the guy instead of "bailing out". But fact remains, that you can still be only friends with the opposite sex.

Applies in some cases. "Friendzoning" someone isn't always due to lack of mutual interest. People live busy lives and some people can foresee not having enough time for a relationship.
