Oh my goodness, I could not have said this better. My ex boyfriend also lacked a spine! If anyone can find one online, please let me know where. I would love to give him one for Christmas
Im not entirely sure what you mean about her not being a man? Of course she isn't. The point is thats the trait a man needs to date her. Why would she need to be 'an actual man'?
@BaileyisDarcy "And the truth is, you don’t have to agree with my dad. I personally don’t care if you do or don’t. But please understand what I mean when I tell you I want a real man. A man with a spine. And please, don’t tell a girl she doesn’t know what a real man is."
I was responding to that part. I used to be of the opinion that women have absolutely zero idea of what it takes to be a real man, but the MyTake owner clearly demonstrated that she knows what a real man is, and I agree with her that to be real man you need a spine.
But now you're assuming guys will reveal their true colors before a girl falls for them. Usually, the objective of the guy who is trying to trick women is to make them fall for them so that they just accept their flaws. I mean, women do it to men, too.
It may be obvious to you but just because you see it doesn't mean everyone can. A lot of what we learn from dating we learn from our parents. Most guys I know are very dysfunctional and every one of them were raised by dysfunctional parents.
From what I understand, you girls have a network system of hearsay on just about every guy in the premises. Therefore, you have the information readily available.
I've seen it in action with my sister and a player at her school. She was able to get warning from the other girls about him and she bailed. Seems like a lot of you could learn from her.
And not just with her. I'll kick myself later for admitting this but most of my friends in high school were chicks. I've witnessed this system be used time and time again to help a great number of them avoid crippling heartbreak. Only the stupid ones ignored it, and as a result, their hearts were shattered.

Good take!
But what does having a spine actually mean? Like not being a pushover and having your own (strong) opinions? Do I understand it right? :P
Yeah lol, that's what it means
thank you very much for this wonderful article. because you have just expressed exactly how i feel and so much more! :D
Great take. One of the biggest problems today is the lack of strong Fathers and I think it's equally important for both sons and daughters.
Truthfully I think both women AND men value that in a partner, but obviously women value it more. Makes sense though.
This is the most sensible thing I've read on GAG in a while. I totally agree with your views on fatherhood and marriage. :-)
My parents are rarely affectionate towards one another... I don't remember the last time my dad actually bought my mom something. :/
My friends parents are the same way. They actually find it weird but sweet that my dad does the same thing every year.
Awwwwe your parents sound awesome, for me that would be a little strange. My sister said I'd never have a marriage like that. :/
And I'm not pretty enough anyway:/
People have told me I'd never have a marriage like that, too and that I need to lower my standards.
I'm sure you're very pretty.
Oh, welcome to the club... I've been told I should never get married :/
Just make 6 figures and you will have abundance of females, not just one.
I get all that you say, but i feel men today just aren't interested anymore from what i see... sigh
This has to be one of the best articles I've ever read on here. Anywhere, actually. I completely agree with you.
I have a spine!!! I don't even think it's crooked... Seems like a normal spine to me!!
So many times I've wished I had a dad like this. I feel like I would know more.
A 'Spine' is Grand
But, the definition of its meaning would differ greatly
Not really.
By your response, you must assume all people live the same life?
No. You said 'greatly'. I don't think it will differ that much.
You didn't classify 'greatly' in your initial response
In this case, I agree
I said not really. I did not say not at all. Didn't think I needed to classify 'greatly'.
Oh my goodness, I could not have said this better. My ex boyfriend also lacked a spine! If anyone can find one online, please let me know where. I would love to give him one for Christmas
Just curious, in what way did he lack a spine?
Despite not being an actual man, I agree with you. Nice take.
Despite you* not being an actual man..**

That's a really roundabout way of saying you want to marry a cuck.
The end makes a lot of sense
Guys have to be raised differently than women do
This restored my faith in marriage ❤️
Way too long to bother reading;-P
Then why bother commenting?
Just letting you know what all the other people that looked and it and didn't comment where thinking.
I don't really care. Also, please don't comment on my Takes or questions until you learn proper grammar and spelling. Thank you.
Identifying bad people should be common sense. I don't see why girls should need someone else to tell them how they should/should not be treated.
Love is blind, not everyone can recognize it, both men and women.
They should see the signs before they fall in love. Love isn't instantaneous. They have plenty of time to get a read on the guy.
But now you're assuming guys will reveal their true colors before a girl falls for them. Usually, the objective of the guy who is trying to trick women is to make them fall for them so that they just accept their flaws. I mean, women do it to men, too.

Again with the generalization.
That's actually not true at all.

Because high school is a good place to base how grown women think...
