first I'd like to mention that we're talking here about the relationship phase, the person you want to take the next step with, of course this includes normal standard mature humans, and it's my opinion from my point view and experience, hope you enjoy .....
There are a lot of theories and believes around this subject and the first question asked always, how would you describe your perfect partner ? how you picture them like? how you want them to be like ?
Of course we'll find a gigantic number of opinions and through the smallest details even, but when you put all the mortal and material qualities aside and go to the spiritual basic routs of your needs you'll find the answer that I found from my experience ....
I like to call it the 2/4 rule, basically humans divide their needs into 4 categories and the existence of two can be enough to be ready to take the next step in a relationship ...
1- women
women's 4 categories are : a father, brother, friend and a lover ...
- Father (strength, care)
a man who makes her feel like a little girl, always there when she needs help, takes care of her, spoil her sometimes and go hard on her on other times, he would put her best interest as his main goal, a person whom she can hide in his arms and feel safe, a person who would always tell her don't worry it's gonna be ok i'm here for you and would listen to her talking for hours and wipe her tears if needed.
- Brother (protection, sharing)
a man who would protect her and take her side always outside the house, and would defend her with his life even if she is wrong, on the other hand at home they might fight and hurt eachother but eventually will make up later, a person who will think of her when doing anything at home and would consider her ...
- Best friend (Trust, Fun)
someone who she can trust, a person who knows all her flows and secrets, share many interests with her and can engage many activities together and make the best fun out of it, a person she can be herself around him and act goofy or do the weirdest things with and talk about all kind of stuff, a person who would laugh at her lamest jokes, and even sometimes someone to gossip with, someone she can trust in bad situations, he would ask questions after helping her and finishing the problem !
- Lover (passion, love)
finally a lover, who would make her feel not just like a woman but a woman above all other women, complement her, love her and make her loves him and satisfy her, someone she won't be afraid to be naked with, someone who would hug her and kiss her without asking for it, someone she can share her wildest thoughts and acts with, a challenging brave person who would make her feel vulnerable and strong at the same time, someone with a wild open mind !
so a woman can settle with a man with two categories combined from above depending on what comes first for her ...
2- men
men's 4 categories are : a mother, sister, friend and a lover ...
- Mother (care, ego booster)
beside taking care of his needs at home, someone who would boost his ego, always push him forward and support him and have full trust in his abilities, someone even that she would yell at him or criticize him for thinking or doing nonsense sometimes, at the end of the day he can put his head on her lab when he fails or after a rough day.
-Sister (intelligence, counseling)
a smart person he can count on her opinion in hard tasks or situations, a person with a big heart whom he can take her advice when it comes to his problems with people around him, a person who would always help him find smart and considerate solutions for his life problems.
- Best friend (Trust, Fun)
same as for women, a man also needs someone to trust and be himself around and share activities and open conversations with, have fun and be there in bad situations .
- Lover (Passion, passion, passion ...... Love)
someone who tends to his wildest kinkiest daydreams, someone to dare his limits and make him feel wanted at all times ! someone who won't take sex as a duty, but as sacred shared activity and won't always wait till he asks for it, someone who would surprise him and make him feel like he just met her, someone to set the mood and light the candles her self for him instead of waiting for him to do it.
so also a man can settle with a woman combining two categories depending of the ranking of values for him ...
for me I'd settle for a best friend and a lover, what about you ???
