Most of the time she would fall asleep so I would work my way out from under her then either covered her up and went to bed myself or carried her to the bed and then slept on the couch. We were able to do this because we agreed beforehand that all we were going to be is Star Trek buddies.
Yes, there was incidental touching every now and then like a slight nipple squeezes when really picking on each other to bare butt birthday spankings and a couple times I did get an erection. She would then playfully start flick it with her fingernails saying "go away" which it would eventually do. I remeber one night I was picking on her about her boyfriend and she reached down, grab a handful of me and asked "Do you want to see my impression of Lorena Bobbit?" I said "No, Miss!" Stuff like that we agreed was okay beforehand because it was being playful and not sexual.
This went on for almost 2 years until I move to another state for a better employment position.
So it is possible to have a very close non-sexual relationship between genders as long as both agree on it, are mature enough to keep it that way and prize your friendship enough to not to cross the boundaries set.
Granted, we both admitted that sex between us would have been on the next level or higher but at what cost of what we already had and cherished. I didn't want to spoil her like that and she didn't want to become adicted to me (her words).
