Guys cry. We get upset and get emotional. Girls tear our hearts out more than you think. We are not monsters. We need love. Love which we aren't given. Guys are told to be strong...to bottle our emotions. Guys are scared to love because of how sensitive we are and how much we get hurt. We don't just want sex...we just want girls to love us. We come off as assholes because we think that's what girls like. We are told to be "guys" and not be as emotional, loving or sensitive as we want to be. We are a result of our society.

Guys are destined to get hurt. That's just the way it is. Love doesn't last...and the girls we love turn around and hurt us....this creates monster. But it's not all of us. Some of us can't handle the pain and we become full of hatred and bitterness. Guys don't just want sex....we really don't. We wish girls could hold us at night and pamper us. We want that so badly but we are turned into assholes because of what girls sometimes do to us. Guys are too loving for our own good. Maybe even more loving than girls are. Girls are always too good for us...we are never enough...there is always a better guy...or the single life appeals to girls more. We wish girls would love us....it's sad they often don't.

We want love. Sex is overrated and most guys have sex to fill an urge...not for pleasure. We want to be loved and cradled. I used to cry after one night stands when girls would leave. I never wanted them to leave. I often get depressed because girls just seem so heartless sometimes....like...how can girls just have a one night stand and move on...like us guys are nothing? It hurts. But please, girls, stop thinking of us as sex crazy. We aren't. We are less sexual than you are...we want your heart not your bodies....YOU need to see that and become like us. Girls, you need to seek love not just sex. Please....we need you to.

Emotions are not just limited to girls, that is a myth.
An emotional man is a man that feels for others and has empathy for them. To me, it is a sign that the person is balanced out emotionally and less subject to be the macho type that imposes his views to others but is able to listen and to others and has the ability to put himself in their place.
While women tend to want a man that is a protector, thus maybe not so much a softie, I have admiration for those people, not only men, that can show their emotions and are not ashamed of them.
To me, those are humans which make me feel comfortable and that I know would understand me better in an emotional situation.

I know that guys have emotions, and I wish that they wouldn't be so hesitant to share them. It's unfortunate that society expects guys to conceal their feelings, and never cry.
