Anyone with an IQ above room temperature knows that people who force "body acceptance" and foam at the mouth over "fat shaming" say that because American society as a whole is more and more and more fat. Too many people are fat. Obesity, diabetes, and overweight bodies are a national health epidemic that no one wants to do anything about because how do you tell your own friends and family member who are overweight that they aren't attractive and actually need to DO something about their weight for their physical and emotional health? Well... no one does it, since so many people are overweight. It has become normal to be fat. That's not a "conspiracy;" conspiracy doesn't play a part in that.

The media does not shame men into dating fat women. Men date women for a myriad of reasons. And if a woman happens to be fat, they are not going to reject her if she fits other requirements.

You literally pointed out how some of these chicks are fat and the guys accept them anyway. When the available pool of chicks is fatter, because the available pool of everyone is fatter, people have to accept fat mates potentially in order to get any sex at all. How is this confusing, and how on Earth do you mistakenly think that what I'm saying is unrelated to your Take?
Well, you appear to be excited over something you shouldn't be excited about. If you don't care about men dating fat women, one would have thought this would not even be on your radar. But obviously it is. So you project all your issues with self-esteem onto relationships you claim to not care about. You feel guilty over something you should have no guilt over.
You don't like fat women, so do you.
But stop accusing men who look past physical attractiveness of being chubby chasers or of being losers. If they are happy, then they are happy. Its like you have such little self-confidence that if a man makes a different choice than you, you have to make up reasons for why he made his choices.

Your premise is basically "as long as the person making the bad choice is happy with the bad choice, then the choice isn't bad." I'd... respectfully disagree.
And your premise is also wrong in the face of what you just said-- refusing to choose fat girls because it's NOT what makes you happy, by the same token, also has to be okay by your logic... which it is. Which would not make it "shallow." That's a stupid thing to say.
I never said they were making a bad choice. You can't see you. But I can. I see you clearly.
If they made a choice, then it is their choice, good, bad, insane, or brilliant.

Find a way to live comfortably with what you have chosen to do. Be it dating an Angelina Jolie clone or a Rosie O'Donnell look-alike. Don't burden other people with your issues. Find a way to resolve that. Counseling is a good thing.

I addressed your points perfectly. It was you who stated they were making bad choices for dating fat women. Or that somehow the pool of women who were fat was growing so someone like Idris Elba has to choose a fat woman. He can't just make his own damn choices without a fruitcake insinuating he was brainwashed or made a bad decision.
I have dated fat, skinny, medium and average.
No one "convinced" me. I had no issues making my choices. And I am not about to let some pathetic examples of manhood try to take my ability to make choices away.

The point is these men do not have the expected "tastes" that men are stereotyped as to having when it comes to dating/marriage. They are quite happy in their supposedly non-conventional choices. And if these men, almost all of whom have either won the sexiest men in the world or at least are high up on the list, were so concerned over supermodel looks they would have left their wives or changed their preferences long ago.
