They are both pure hell if it does not come easy for you, or you don' t know how to exploit the situation to your advantage, or you have feelings and fall in love. Feelings of love are stupid, we would be much better off if we were like animals where sex is only for continuation of the species.
In traditional societies, marriage is a property transfer (from father to groom). Even in the West today, the father "gives away" the bride, but the actual meaning of marriage has been lost, as women are no longer property. It's become meaningless.
The wickedness of feminism has turned women into self-entitled brats. But men are guilty for allowing it by relinquishing their power.
it's still proven, tha overall live satisfaction is higher if you're married, so i guess it comes down to finding a "good" partner, which is obviously easier said than done.
If 40-50% of marriages end in divorce, then I deduce that 50-60% don't. The argument then becomes what does marriage have to offer to make the risk justifiable?
But I'm just playing Devil's Advocate. In my case you're preaching to the choir.
The more I read & research about relationships and divorce, the less I see it being a benefit for men to get married.

The Game is tilted in favor of a women they win out when it comes to money if their kids involve 99% of the time men lose custody sometimes contact.
Dating and marriage is only hell if you involve yourself with a cancer of a person otherwise is a beautiful thing.
