DiegoO

In PART#1 I gave an introduction of the topic before numbering 2 of the 5 main things that makes of a LDR a fatal relationship. I also clarified the type of LDR I am referring to. Please read PART#1 if you haven't, before leaving any comment in PART#2.

The fatality of long distance relationships (5 things you should know) Part 2

5 things you should know from The fatality of Long Distance Relationships:

1. A Long Distance Relationship will never aloud you to know someone with the same depth you would know someone in person.

2. A Long Distance Relationship makes you vulnerable to a pile of preconceptions.

3. A Long Distance Relationship can torn apart healthy interpersonal relationships.

Beside of not been able to make you know someone with all the senses needed to do so, and the danger of adopting preconceptions that could easily be wrong, there is another aspect that it's also damaging. It has to do with how a LDR can cut down valuable moments you should be sharing with family, friends, among others that form part of your social circle.

Socialization has went from physical to virtual, we can now interact like in no other era, the difference is that virtual interaction cannot emulate the real life environment, it can not copy the stimulus we need to maintain functional our emotional needs. Been so, it doesn't matter if you pass a decade in touch with someone you only know online, you'll miss out the sensory information required to know that person accurately with low margins of mistake.

4. A long Distance Relationship even if it's not serious, it shouldn't be the starting point of something more. It doesn't matter if you finally met in person.

It sounds radical. The reason I mention it is due to these points: point1, point2. Without consciously noticing it, you give in to a fabricated view of the person you met online first, and that can become dangerous for anyone.

5. A long Distance Relationship compromise your mental health and it can put at risk your physical well being.

With the last in the list I've been straightforward. A LDR, if taken to serious, it can exacerbate negative emotions, and those emotions will have of course a scary impact over the body, specially in the immune system.
