  Parents love THEIR son and not other people's son.
  Parents love their kids because they are THEIR kids.
  That is Love based on a condition.
• Romantic Relationship Example:
  How did they end up with that person?
  They liked certain things about them.... Those things are called conditions....

Unconditional Love - Love based on nothing.

Unconditional love is based literally on nothing.
Humans don't do that.
Anything that can judge using the terms Good and Bad cannot give unconditional love.

Conditional Love - Love based on something.

If I can point out why I love you... That is conditional love.
If I Love or hate anything about you that is conditional.

Humans are incapable of unconditional love.

Interesting. Just recently I've would've said my mother's love towards me and my brother is unconditional (ex: even if we were to commit a crime, our mother would still visit us in prison) but you're right.

The problem I'm having is defining conditional and unconditional. Does conditional refer to external (real) conditions. And does unconditional refer to zero external (real) conditions.
If so that would make humans capable of unconditional love through the use of the imagination. I don't mean sustained but simply capable.

But it's more complicated than that because I can easily come up with arguments to say that is incorrect. It's just too above my head for now. And even if I could explain it, I'd need to fully make use of spiritual concepts and everyone would have to believe in such which they don't.

Unconditional Love is a capability that is Exampled. Clearly as demonstrated around us, Unconditional Love is NOT. Agape is the closest definition to unconditionality in Love. I see that exampled nowhere by Man…

I disagree with the definition you have. I define it as a state of mind or attitude; regardless of its physical expression or not. You can fake expression of love; you cannot fake love.

I also disagree about Agape. I don't believe God loves humans in the way that a human loves. I believe God is love and if you love God, God with draw nigh to you. I know unconditional love is possible by my definitions but I cannot explain it and so I take the side that unconditional love does not exist in humans because it's much easier to explain and most people cannot beat its argument.

Second, the “spirit of the law”, and lastly the “unconsidered”. The technical application of the dictionary definition of the words used in “unconditional love” 100% supports your suggestions and implications. Unfortunately, life is less cut and dried. There are exaggerations, colloquialisms, misunderstandings, overuses and hyperbole. Even if you could get everyone to agree on the meaning of “unconditional”, you’ll never get everyone to agree on the definition of “love”.

I believe it does however it is very rare. I’ve seen very few examples of it because many people have the wrong idea of what love is supposed to be. Sometimes love is painful when you are in it but it is still intended with love. It is still in your best interest. Unconditional love looks very different than typical love or romantic love.

Put another way parents are legally required to take care of their children if they decide to keep the child after birth, and want to raise them, I'd say all interactions between people, whether they be relationships or something as small as a conversation, are conditional, there will always be conditions for this and that, and basically anything until everything, everywhere is equal in intelligence, and immortal, so basically if everyone was perfect, which will never happen, and also I noticed this at like 12, my perception of the world is constantly changing and adapting to anything and everything I encounter, I've always been that smart kid in class that never needed to study a day in my life and I'd basically analyze everything down to my thoughts patterns because they were interesting

It does exist, @Vesuvius87, you came close (in my opinion), children can do things to make you angry. And they might even end up in jail, I might not visit them, I might be angry with them for the rest of my life, however, they still get unconditional love because that is what we signed up for. This is going to rile up a few folks - if your not willing to give uncondional love then don't have kids. Marriage, well, that's a different story...

That's a beautiful thing and my MyTake in no way was meant to suggest conditional love is crummy.
However, that isn't unconditional love. That just simply suggest that the pros of the marriage and the attachment of the marriage out ways the bad. Unconditional love has not attachment nor no pros or cons. To even judge something as "bad"(fire victim) suggest that isn't unconditional love.

We cannot have unconditional love in a conditional world. It is impossible. It has nothing to do with being perfect... The world unconditional is detached for everything. Unconditional love has no labels. Perfect is of the conditional world.

The world runs on value. I tried to fight the truth of that but it's true. It doesn't have to be a bad thing though.

In writing this MyTake I discovered unconditional love does exist. However, I don't think it's worth mentioning because most people cannot articulate how it can exist. You are somewhat on the right track but it can be taken deeper than that. There is something that allows us to love unconditionally. What is that thing? That is how you prove unconditional love. "If you do not base your love on" How do you do that? That's my question for you. The answer is the only argument against my claims in this mytake. How do you do that when you can judge things as good or bad. And please don't say, "by not judging them". The answer is on this page below the Mytake.

That would be a reason for loving them. Look if you want to effect them in any way that would also not be in harmony with unconditional love.

One cannot get away from conditions in the world of conditions. <--
That's the secret.
Only in the world of no conditions can unconditional love exist.
But first we have to define love.
Love is a state of mind. Like all states it can be expressed yes but it is simply a state of mind first.
Confidence is a state of mind too. It's easy to see confidence being expressed. Or Joy being expressed.
Love is simply a state of mind.
The appearance of things often tends to create a corresponding state of mind in the observer.
For example, if someone treats you mean for no reason it tends to create a corresponding state of mind in us. Perhaps anger or fear or feeling annoyed or shocked.
That's why the Golden rule is treat other how you want to be treated. Your behavior toward them has an effect on them even if they resist submission to it.
"Don't let them bring you down to their level" To their state of mind.
or If a girl tells you something that makes you feel good about yourself. The outer conditions tend to create a corresponding state of mind in us.

The higher mental faculty known as imagination is what allows for the state of mind known as love to be detached from outer conditions.
This is called living from the inside out or living in God.
So how it looks in terms of unconditional love is you would use your imagination or thoughts to generate the state of mind known as love and once you have done that you would change you intention to the person that you wish. And in that moment you are loving them away from the world of conditions and therefore you are loving them separate from real, external conditions.

Obviously that is one way one can also imagine that person being how they wish they were and that would also work.

Now even that argument I can counter because it still is a little weak.
Conditional love doesn't have to be all bad though. Givers gain. The more value you give the more you gain; if not from them then someone else.
