4. They exhibit poor impulse control. "The characteristics seen in serial cheaters can vary widely."

Note: This behavior can be driven by poor impulse control, potentially as a symptom of various psychiatric conditions.

5. They haven't dealt with their emotional health issues. "Underlying conditions, may range from primary psychiatric conditions, like bipolar disorder or impulse-control disorders like ADHD or substance-induced disorders."

Note: "Sexual addiction" or "attachment issues" may also be at play.

6. They act like cheating isn't a big deal or say that monogamy is overrated. If your partner doesn't seem to be interested in committing to you, doesn't think monogamy is the right relationship model for them, and / or doesn't think that cheating on a partner is a deal breaker, you should take them at face value. This line of thinking is indicative of a person who has cheated on partners.

Unfortunately, busting a cheater can be hard to do if you don’t have any valid evidence that they did, Your gut instincts can sometimes help you , but they aren’t always accurate as well. Once you get cheated on by someone , and you bust them , your instincts will become better at busting or spotting another cheater moving forward. Most cheaters are very sneaky and will cover up their tracks the best way they can, so they don’t get busted. I been cheated on a few times from girls’ through the years to the point my gut instincts is better at spotting or busting a cheater , , whether it’s emotional or physical cheating they are doing to me , I am pretty good at spotting a cheater The key thing to do , is to not let them know you are on to them , because once a cheater knows you are onto them , they will cover their tracks even more , making is harder for you to bust them , so the key things to look out for , is the way they treat you , If they use to be sweet and kind and caring to you and then all of a sudden they are acting mean or grumpy to you for no reason , that’s a sign you shouldn’t ignore , also their actions , if you both use to be inseparable with each other , and you both made each other your top priority and always including each other in everything and then all of a sudden they are no longer including you in things , and they start drifting from you , basically choosing their friends and everyone else over you that’s a sign to not overlook or ignore either , and then the biggest Red Flag of all , is their intimacy and affection towards you , if they are barely kissing you , or wanting to be in your arms , or they barely ever want to have sex with you anymore and they are making every lame excuse in the book as to why they are not in the mood , making you feel like the relationship is one sided? Basically you are the only one initiating it and they no longer or barely ever do , when it was never an issue before. That’s the sign to not overlook whatsoever. Whether they are cheating on you or not , they are still cheating on the relationship by not being honest and upfront with you. So you can either walk away , or stick around and keep investigating until you have valid proof , but that’s up to you. Cheaters think they are sneaky but with the technology we have today , it’s easy to bust them , if you want to go down that road. We can spy into cell phones , we can set up hidden cameras , as well as GPS devices to track them, people are stupid tp cheat these days , thinking they won’t get busted , maybe back in the day it was easier to cheat , but nowadays not so easy to get away with

The issue is that serial cheaters can be harder to spot…. As well as many are narcissists and other dark personalities. People who have empathy who make a bad choice many times it was impulsive, spur of the moment, and got led into temptation. They feel absolutely horrible for what they did as well as are sloppy.

The worst thing is the ones who do it notoriously have learned how to hide it good. Learned how to lie as well as always have a plan to cover it up, to hide it, as well as what to say. The sad thing is by the time someone has caught these people cheating once they probably did it a hundred times.

Some women though do deserve, and some men equally, deserve some benefit here - what if they're undiagnosed with some mental condition or personality condition - it's worth considering that "they may not even know it" and doesn't make us all therapists to diagnose it either.

After all, I certainly have "some sense" that I "may be" a somewhat OCD person, clean freak, germ freak, anxiety prone, yet nothing I haven't learnt to manage and self cope with happily :)

But some folks never think they're different or that they should modify their behaviour. Like the hyperactive types without medication should be able to self realise "bouncing around against the walls, isn't going to let them hold down a job" in the real world. 🙃
