My crush likes my friend but she doesn't like him?

I have a crush that I really really like. He seems to be interested in me but he seems more interested in my friend. The thing is that my friend told me that she isn't interested in any guy at school and that she definitely doesn't want to be involved in any relationship in high school (I didn't ask we were just talking about college and it came up). The biggest complaint I have with my friend is that she flirts with guys even though she isn't interested. So anyways I asked my crush for help on a question and he invited me to come to school to help me because he was already there studying for a test with my friend. I declined as I was busy and he helped me via fb chat but now I'm really upset. I was hoping I could have been exaggerating things but this shows he really likes her! And I know, for a fact, that she doesn't care about him! She doesn't even really like him that much as a friend! She just likes flirting with guys! I haven't told her I like him but she isn't my closest friend and I don't know if I can trust her to keep quiet. What do I do? I really like this guy, and he's definitely shown interest in me, it's just that I think he likes her more. Please help! I'm so upset! Thank you and sorry for ranting.
