When she's the only thought or commitment in life that is TRULY important.
When I wake up in the morning, she's the first thing I think of, and when I go to bed, the last.
When she wishes me sweet dreams, I know that the only way that will come true is if she is in them.
When I see her, my heart literally skips a beat, and I have the uncontrollable urge to smile, and even when she's gone, the smile doesn't fade for minutes on end.
When her name shows up on caller ID, I almost want to hug the phone, with the hopes that she gets it on the other end.
When she tells me that I've made her day, even if it's for the hundredth time, I feel as though I've accomplished the greatest thing on Earth.
When she says my name, I know that there is no way it could sound any sweeter.
And that's how I know that I'm in love with an angel. :)
I had a feeling I was falling in TRUE love when I couldn't sleep without saying goodnight,I wanted to spend ALL my time with her,I wasn't looking at any other women out the corner of my eye, t.v. and porn women didn't interest me.I wanted to spend more time around her and her family. I told her " I think I'm falling in love with you but I'm scared because you might not be in love with me,but I can't hold it in no more I have to let you know what I'm feeling,I'm not sure and I won't say it until I'm sure and I want you to do the same." I was so nervous becasue I have never felt that way,a true "I love you" won't come out easy.

I've only been in love once, and I was 18. I'm 21 now and I just fell in love with this girl I've known my entire life, and she was the LAST person I expected to be with. I almost forgot how awesome this feeling is, but at the same time how painful it is when you aren't able to be with that person. You know you're in love when you...are always thinking about them, look at all of their messages they send you, you get nervous just going to see them, when you're apart from them your stomache just kills, you dream about them at least 3 times a week...etc...
You fall in love when your not trying to and neither is she.
It just happens, that's how it goes.
You won't know until it happens either, so many people think they have fallen in love because they obsess, care, feel sad for their partner, worry about them and so on and so forth but although them aspects seem like true love (not just caring love) then it just feels like you have been made complete and that she/he really is your 'other half', because together you just feel right like you are 1 single unit that just works for no apparent reason.
Again don't look for love, don't worry about when it happens or if you have it right, just go along with things and it will just work its way in one day when you least expect it.
When I can't seem to get her out of my mind, even months after. When we finish each other's sentences. When we can have a silent dinner and realize were closer 30 minutes later. When I feel content with the world around me, as long as she's near. That's when.
Well, when I'm walking down the street and I see a red Ferrari go by, I know I'm in love.

Afraid? as in "afraid if she leaves you?" or a different kind of afraid? To some that's not love but desperation. To others, that is a definition of love.

For me, the opening monologue from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind sums it up pretty well...
"Why do I fall in love with every woman I see who shows me the least bit of attention?"
