Girls, Is she starting to like me?

Long story short, she knows that I like her, and wants to be friends for the time being. We have known each other for about 2 months (consider this when reading on). I kind of just stopped caring about a relationship with her, distanced myself from her (think of "treating her as a friend" rather than "trying to get her"), and decided to accept the fact as friends and move on (I still like her). At first we were indifferent about it (nothing changed, she acted the same, no awkwardness). Now I've noticed she's acting different around me lately. She deeply apoligizes whenever she can't get back to me (it's not like "I miss you" in a friend way, but with a sad face and everything)., uses my name a lot (she wouldn't before), she seems a lot happier to talk to me now (like "Hey Joe!"). I was really shocked when she came up to me and opened up about missing me and the times we used to share together (she looked kind of nervous when saying it), especially knowing each other for such a short amount of time. I wouldn't say she's being friendlier because she's more comfortable around me, because she doesn't act like this with any of her other friends. We've been distant before, but she never seemed to care enough to open up to me like that. Should I let it "just happen" if she likes me or should I ask if she wants more?

Sadly, I think that if you've already put yourself out there, all you can do now is wait. It does sound like she's starting to like you, but maybe take things slow and see how it goes. :) I suppose you could ask her to go get coffee and hang out or something, and if she gets uncomfortable then she is probably not interested and you could always backtrack and specify "as friends" or whatever. Haha.

I think it sounds like she likes you! If it was me I think I'd prefer to be asked where we stand because I don't like making the first move even if I'm hinting which she seems to be! So I'd say ask her if she wants more maybe invite her to hang out and take it from there :)

It sounds like she's starting to warm up! I'd take it slow, just to be sure. The next time you see her, bring her a flower and see how she reacts. If she does like you, she'll probably still want you to make the first move (even if she already knows you like her).

Are you saying that something was holding her back in the first place? I guess it's possible that I was going too fast.

You never know. She might have just needed time to get to know you before deciding how she feels.
