Strip Clubs While in a Committed Relationship. Right or Wrong?

Guys- If you are in a committed long term relationship, do you have the desire to go to strip clubs? Why? Why not just stay at home with your girl and be with her instead, physically or otherwise? A married guy I know told me "it's no big deal to go to a strip club and get a lap dance and watch". I tend to disagree. I want your honest opinions!

Girls- What do you think of it if your boyfriend were to go to a strip club? What would you think if he only watched? Or if he got a lap dance too?

Neither in my opinion as I find it's up to the couple. In my opinion I have no issue with it.

I've got a nice stfu for any interaction with a guy he finds offensive or gal's night out clubbing. He paid for entrance to a sexual club to see and possibly be touched by naked gals. He can stfu on me going to clubs and dancing with other guys no matter how 'provocative' the grinding/dancing is.

What would you think if he only watched? Or if he got a lap dance too?
I wouldn't think anything other than he paid a gal for sexual interaction.

I'd be a little upset, first of all because I am nowhere near stripper material, looks wise and personality wise. If that's the kind of woman a man wants to be with why is he with me? I can understand if the relationship is stale and he never gets to have intercourse with his woman or see her naked. Going to a strip club once in a while under those circumstances can be understandable. But I kind of feel like that's what porn is for. Porn is dismissable because most men use it for masturbation purposes only and don't use it too often to where it negatively impacts the relationship.

I'd be upset too. I'm with you on that it is understandable if he is single or if his relationship is going to end and he knows it. But if he is getting plenty of attention at home (sex wise, emotionally, mentally, etc) then I don't understand it. It almost feels like a form of cheating to me. Why would he want another womans body when he has a girl who he claims to love at home just waiting on him?

I have the same question lol. Guys have so many excuses to why it's okay to look at other women naked, but yet why is it we're always seeing questions on this site from guys like "Is my size big enough?". Being a woman I am bias, I don't have an obsession with looking at naked men like men have this obsession with looking at naked women. It's just a visual stimulate to them. From what I understand that woman (stripper/porn star) is simply viewed as a slut who a man would hit and quit. Where as his wife or girlfriend has a more complex relationship, this woman isn't just a place for him to sick his dick but someone he can share his life with, you understand?

This question came up a lot with my ex.. and tbh I dont see the problem with going to a strip club where as she did... aslong as your only going there to look and aslong as your faithul to you patrner and always go home to her... I really dont see the problem... it wouldn't bother me if my girl went to a male strip club aslong as she stayed faitful and always came home to me I wouldn't have a problem... I told her that enall... I suppose it comes down to trust dont... but if u havnt got trust in the first place then why are u even together... strip clubs are just a bit of fun normally with between a group of mates... there's no harm done

I don't go to the strip club because I have an urge to go, I usually go when friend's want to celebrate their birthdays or something of the likes. I see no problem going to the strip club with friends to celebrate a birthday if I'm not getting any lap dances.

Yeah I totally agree, it's weird for him to go "just because". When I'm in a relationship instead of going to the strip club when I'm horny I actually enjoy myself with my partner...

I consider lap dances cheating if the guy lets it happen, the girl is grinding on your dick trying to turn you on. Been to a few Bachelor parties where my friends were tied down to a chair for the girls to give them lap dances so them I couldn't blame because they had no choice in the matter.

It has everything to do with the couple there is no right or wrong here.
If the couple is open minded and comfortable in their relationship then it is not a problem. Some couples may be more uptight or strict in their moral compass that guides them though life then another. Others may know that just cause your in a relationship the other one is not the end all of existence and people still have fantasy's and still need to feel alive. Some find being open and not hiding sexuality and fantasy lead to a healthy relationship between the two even more so then the ones who would be stuck up about things.

I guess I'm the more conservative person you described then. I just don't understand why a man would have the desire to do so, especially if he is getting plenty of sex and attention at home, physically, emotionally, and mentally.
