My boyfriend's sister rejected my FB friend request. I'm worried this means she doesn't like me for her brother. Should I ask my boyfriend about it?

I feel really silly and childish asking this question at my age, but bear with me please.

My boyfriend and I are going on 6 months. I've met his sisters, whose opinions about the girls he's with matter a lot to him. They're very protective of him, especially after his last girlfriend broke his heart. They're awesome girls, and I really like them, and my boyfriend has said that they told him they like me, too. I really want his family to like me. Thing is, when I sent them an FB friend request, one of them rejected my request (the younger one accepted). I'm thinking that it could be because we're not close yet, but I'm also worried that maybe secretly, she doesn't like me. My relationship is great, and my boyfriend is awesome and so much better than the guys I've been with in the past. So I want this to work out. Should I bring this up with my bf? I don't want it to seem like I'm telling on his sister, or I'm throwing a tantrum, but I genuinely want to know.

Don't bring it up to your boyfriend & stop obsessing for their approval.
1. The relationship is still young
2. They are protective of him so chances are, they will never think you are good enough for him

Your only focus needs to be on him. You will gain their acceptance by your actions & his happiness.

I know this; he really should be my only focus. And I know it's true that when they see that their brother continues to be happy with me, then they'll be happy with me. In fact, they did tell my boyfriend that they really like me. But the FB rejection, as silly as it may seem, concerns me because I wonder if she's trying to send me a message. I know how important she is to him. And I actually really like her, too. His entire family is awesome. So my FB request getting rejected (not just ignored; she actually denied it) doesn't make any sense to me.

But again, you're right. #1 The relationship is still young. I'm still under scrutiny, especially because of what the last girl did to him. It's not fair though in my opinion. I'm under extra scrutiny because of what somebody else did.

I wouldn't bring it up to him. I would just let it go for right now. It's not a big deal. Sure, it seems like it is, but he's still with you right? So, don't let his sister get to you. She also may want to wait until she feels secure that you guys are going to stay together before she accepts.
