no, i dont have a soft spot for my first love... he was an asshole. i'm just thankful he taught me a lot of things... i was also very childish and an asshole myself xD so yeah i just know that i shouldn't act like this and that with my future boyfriend

There is a lot of movies and music that is about young love and shit.

It feels like first/young love is a lot more significant than any other failed relationships that follow. People will look back on their first love more fondly and sweetly than any others.

A part of me will always love my ex husband but no way will I ever go back to him. My second love means so much more to me and therefore the standard by which I judge any man I chose to spend my time with. He will be hard to beat, the bar is high.
