Why am I scared to kiss him?

Ok, other times when i would date some one i wasn't scared to kiss them. But there's this one guy who I am dating right now and I really really like him. Why am i scared to kiss him? He clearly tells me he wants to so why dont i go for it?
Why am I so scared? I have never been scared to do that

Maybe it is because you are really into him and you just get nervous about it because of that or it could be just a mental thing where you are subconsciously worried about if the kiss will be good or not? Haha I have no idea, but sometimes it can be a subconscious thing that makes you hesitant to do it
