I cut my hair for my boyfriend and our sexual life. Did I do the right thing?

I used it have super long hair to my bum.

My boyfriend hated my hair and sex was a problem as he also hated the bun look. Like he hates buns and ponytails. I decided to cut it all off and I also got it dyed. This is my new hair, did I do the right thing?

I now have a blonde bob and my boyfriend loves it so bits, likes he is so happy about and and the sex last night was totally amazing and I did feel amazing that he could put his fingers through my hair. What do you guys think. Did I do the right thing?

It's your hair, you can do what you want with it for who you want to.

I think your other hair looked better simply because I don't like the cut of this one, it's like a mom cut in my opinion. And you're no older than 24. But I do think your old hair could use some volume (but that's the issue with super long straight hair)

The bottom line is, are you happy with it?

Haha yes we did actually. We did a play role and I was naked and had it in a pony tail. I sat there as he cut off my pony tail. He actually cut it way too short lol. It was fun and sexy but that's why it's so short. But it's for the better as I like it and so does he

We did a similar thing when I first got pregnant. My husband laid me out on a table, but, rather than just snipping off a ponytail, he used a clipper and went slowly and sensuously, massaging my head (with my newly short hair) as he went. He took his sweet time -- probably almost an hour.

I'd never had short hair before that point, so, that whole pregnancy was just incredible. Everything about it just radiated a sense of ownership. My short hair, his baby growing inside me, his ring on my finger, my neck exposed to him... his, his, his, all of me. <3

Thinking about going with short hair again, sometime. (It's mid-back length again now.) It's getting less easy to grow out as I get older.

Depends how you feel about what you did. Do you "love" it? As long as you didn't just do it for him then you did the right thing. I'm sure if you wanted to change something physically on him he would do it for you right? Probably not I'm guessing. Then it's wrong if you wouldn't have considered it otherwise. I personally liked your long hair better.

If you are happy with the new hair look, great! However, I feel that you shouldn't have to change your appearance for the sake of him. I am very wishy washy about this because part of me is like "well if everything turned better after this, cool!" and "he should like you for who you are without complaining about these things".

Its just hair it will grow back.. it looks really pretty. I did the same and cut all of mine that short. Felt instant regret but after a day or so I began to love it. As long as you are happy thats what's important

Do you like the new haircut yourself? If so i don't see an issue with it. Personally i think the new one looks really nice and is eye catching whereas long and brown blends in a bit for me.

Haha yes true, I can always cut it into a pixie cut and that will sort out the ponytail problem as the hair will be out my way
