Is it worse to break a man's or a woman's heart?

When it comes to bad experience in the relationship/love life department, in your opinion is it worse when someone breaks a man's or a woman's heart?

It's not the same at all, it's actually worse breaking a mans heart. Women in general have a better supporting nucleus. Women are encouraged to show their feelings, while men are taught to bottle it up and get over it.

Successful suicides are carried out by men at a great margin. One of the thoughts being men have no support group to help cope. For men in a relationship, the woman is his support and when they split his support is gone. Men depend on their women a lot more for emotional support. Assuming love is equally shared among both parties.

It's actually a fact that women recover from heartbreak faster than men. That is no coincidence. By no means am I saying the pain is worse for men than women. What I am saying, it's worse to break a mans heart because it is harder for him to recover if ever.

Personal experience, I was heartbroken over 7 years ago and even though I managed to move on, it took me years. Even so she has left a void within me and will always have a piece of my heart.

So in all objectivity, it is worse to break a mans heart.

Heartbreak is heartbreak, just like rejection is rejection, just like friend zoning is friend zoning and betrayal is betrayal... its only females that tend to think males are impervious to all that.
It hurts all the same, its just that women make such a big deal of it because of their sense of entitlement. Think that ass and titties will get em whatever and whomever, so the surprise/shock seems greater, but its really not.
Lets add the fact that women go over-dramatic about it... and men just understand, mourn for a sec, then move on.
This doesn't apply to all men or women.
Oh and i forgot... men usually tend to use "head" instead of "heart" so... lower chances. some of us if not most, tend to see it coming before it happens.

Most people will say both are equally bad but when it comes to heart breaks, women recover from them faster than men. Hence why some people say Men are better at tolerating physical pain while women are better at tolerating emotional pain. While it's bad to break a person's heart, it's a little bit worse to break a man's heart.

i would think a woman's heart because there more delicate than a guy. im not saying this due to some bull crap relationship that was bad from the get go
and yeah i get that guys are more destructive when there hurt but they they get over it and move n if they have what it takes and dont just sit in one place drowning there thoughts in a glass of whisky thinking the answer is at the bottom of a glass or maybe a bottle.

i say this because women takes things to the heart way more serious than a guy who just found out that his mom or something died. im not taking that lightly at all im just saying women take it to that level when hurt there just seem t be more fragile and lash out in ways that some guys would not even imagine.

i mean the saying hell hath no fury like a woman scorned did not just come from no where.

A man's heart, once broken, makes it more difficult for him to love other women, in a world where men already have scarce options to women.

A woman's heart, once broken, makes it more difficult for her to be loved again, even though they have an abundance of men to pick from.

I feel men have it slightly worse, but minimally so.

Both are equally bad , however women have their ultra close female friends , large , well developed support networks of both genders , & if she so wishes , normally quite a few male options waiting in the wings. Men are on their own to just " suck it up " & just deal with it. This is why men can appear to women to be hard hearted... because we HAVE to be !!

The reason I voted the same is because there's really no telling. Everyone experiences pain in a different way regardless of sex. It IS true that men and women express their pain/feelings differently, but that's really the only difference in my opinion. It's bad either way. Heartbreak sucks.
