What does a guy mean when he replies "oh lol" to a text?

So here's the situation. Him and I have been dating a little over a month. I met his family and friends and him and I are very open with each other. He is my best friend. Last night I said that I hope him and I turn out like the characters Ellie and Carl from the movie "UP" and that's when he said "oh lol" then I replied with yeah. This morning I texted him and asked him what that was supposed to mean and he hasn't replied yet but was active on fb an hour ago. I'm trying not to freak out and he might just be busy but what do you think he ment by that text. I love him but havnt told him yet and plan to wait it out and tell him after 3+ months of dating at least. I did tell him that I like him a lot and he told me he likes me a lot too. But that was before this oh text was sent last night. Am I overreacting or overthinking?

Him and I were planning to go on vacation but couldn't and had to cancel last minute because his job wasn't giving him hours and he couldn't afford the hotel
