Should I worry if my girlfriend hangs out with guys too?

Hello everyone.

Basically, what I asked.

Should I worry if my girlfriend hangs sometimes with guy friends aswell and not only with her girl friends? She hasn't shown me any wrong signs to be worried, but just wondering. I feel uncomfortable most of the times. Sometimes she might hang with a friend of her (male) alone. Is that normal?

Would you let your boyfriend/girlfriend hang out with people of the opposite gender?

My man me and you and I bet a lot of guys out there have the same problem. But listen carefully to what you have to do because I dont want you to fuck up like I have with my girlfriend.

1. TRY TO NOT BE INSCURE AS MUCH as you are doing rn. Because insecurity only pushes your girlfriend away (trust me on that one)
2. trust her and be confident ( your girlfriend will love you more for that and it will show that you trust her and that's a turn on by girls)
3. DONT AND DONT AND DONT AND DONT look into her phone because again that will show how inscure you are and she won't like that.
4. APPROCHE her in a calm way on a nice date or when u guys go out and on A GOOD TIME ONLY, yanno approache her and explain how you feel but dont go too deep to show your insecurity. Just exaplin how you feel in a way that won't show that ur inscure if you know what I'm talking about.
4. You my man have to do the same thing she's doing, now I'm not telling u to go out there and cheat. I'm telling you to go outthere and have your own life too without her but dont make her jelous or do anything stupid. In my opinion I would try to avoid hanging with just one girl by myself just to avoid headaches and problems because girls think differently from a boy and they are crazy.
5. if you know and feel that her love is true for you then dont trip about that too much. Because if a girl really loves you and care about you she wouldn't even be thinking about cheating.
6. TRUST YOUR GUTS whatever your guts r telling you then it's mostly right
7. please please please please dont argue or bring it up too much because it's going to take you to a place you won't like trust me.
8. You are not alone, I'm in the same shit here, we can't do anything about it because it will fuck us up. Girls are crazy once again so let them do their own thing. All what you can do is Just trust her and trust your guts.
9. You always have the option to leave my man. If you feel something doesn't feel right then take a further step.

This is a tough one that I can't readily answer. I mean... I have met girls who have many guy friends and who have slipped up at parties and had a drunken hookup with their guy friend. I have also met girls who have guy friends, but they are good at keeping the relationship purely friends.

I suggest you meet the guy friend (s) and see how they are together... see if you can trust their relationship and see if you have any negative feelings after meeting the guy. It's hard to say.

I have guy friends and they are like brothers to me.
I can understand you are feeling uncomfortable with the idea. If its too much you might mention it? It can also be helpfull to hang out with them to see how they are.

No, most of the time it's normal to have some guy friends. They're not a threat just because she hangs out with them, so don't treat it as such. If she was actively approaching them with the idea of a relationship it would be wrong, but some people have plenty of friends for both genders.

So, if she doesn't give you any reason to be worried, that means you have trust issues. That's something you need to work on.

And yes, being friends with the opposite gender and spending time with that is completely normal. Not having any friends of the opposite gender is what I'd rather consider weird.

I have guy friends, my boyfriend had introduced me to them due to similar interests, and we've played video games and stuff with eachother, I'm clear that I don't want a relationship with any of them except for my boyfriend. He trusts me and I trust him, he has friends who are girls as well, even some exes.

Listen little Jimmy, your significant other is allowed to have meaningful friendships with the opposite sex without it being wrong. It is HEALTHY to have people in your life of the opposite gender other than your s/o. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a toxic person and shouldn’t be in a relationship. Also if she is faithful and doesn’t have a past of cheating or flirting with other guys while in a relationship then it should be fine.
