Is it just me or are blue eyed men more (if not only) attracted to blue eyed women?

I sometimes see blue eyed women crushing on men with brown, green and hazel eyes, but I rarely saw a blue eyed man doing the same thing, toward the opposite gender unless the woman also have blue eyes

All the blue eyed men I know are in a relationship with a blue eyed woman but I know some blue eyed women that are married with men with another eye color.

On the other hand most of the non-blue eyed men ( even the good looking ones who can easily get a hot woman with blue eyes), don’t seem to care about eye color.

Exp: look at Shawn Mendez and Justin Bieber, both have hazel eyes and are extremely popular with women but they dated a woman with brown eyes. I also know a hot guy with green eyes who had a crush on a woman with brown eyes, but On the other hand almost all the blue eyed men with options choose to get with blue eyed women

Is it because they subconsciously wanna pass their gene so badly that they’re not aware of their attraction? Cause most of them never admit it, but I often see how they only have a massive interest for a LTR if the woman have the same eye color as them. ( they don’t care if it’s for a one night stand but they do when it comes to serious relationships and mariage ).

While I think you are correct, it is not very strong.
I have blue eyes and would rather have had a blue-eyed girlfriend.
The girl I wanted to marry I believe had blue eyes.
However, the other girls that I dated and the one I did marry do not have blue eyes.

First, my wife's eyes are not blue but not brown either (I better check - I haven't seen her in 6 months).

The eyes were not the sole issue.

If my wife had blue eyes and the exGF that I wanted to marry had brown eyes, I still would likely have opted for the exGF. I was in love with her and eye color is not a high priority. She dumped me... and, because she dumped me, that solidified my desire to not have kids because I could not imagine or accept having kids with anyone else. So, even if blue eyes were critical (*) to me regarding wanting blue-eyed kids like me, it was moot; by ensuring that I would not have kids (all later GFs had hysterectomies), the eye color became irrelevant.

(*) My hazel-eyed father use to joke that he married my blonde blue-eyed mom to make blonde, blue-eyed babies (which my sis and I are).
