If men rarely take back cheaters, where are these simps coming from?

My friend cheated on her boyfriend twice and he still took her back. She's supposedly remorseful this time and he gave in.

Then this apparently happy married couple in my area seemed too good to be true. The darkest secret is that she had an affair long ago and 2 out of their 3 children aren't his. He knows it, they went to counseling and still stayed with her, still raised them.

It makes me wonder what exactly do these girls have that makes those simps want to stay with them? Where are simps like that coming from?

Most men don't tolerate this but we live in a society that has demonized and broken men to such a point that they don't have any self respect left (so you get simps on the extreme end of the spectrum and on the other end the man whores who need to fuck anything that moves to prove that they matter. This is what happens when you wage war against masculinity (seriously, their is a psychiatrist organization that stated (traditional) masculinity is a mental condition), you just break men and make everything disfunctional.).

As to why they do it, well they have low selfesteem, they are told that women can do no wrong so it was clearly their fault that their significant others cheated on them and they just have to do better and she won't cheat on him again (bullshit, but this is what men are taught), they have been demonized and maligned so they think anything other then meekness and submissiveness is wrong so they are afraid to stand up for themselves.

Personally if this happened to me, she would be thanking god that she got to live (I don't tolerate disloyalty. If you can stab some one you claim to love in the back that easily over casual sex (which you could have gotten from them), then at that point you have no value as a person because you can't be trusted with anything or anyone.).

But again, this is what society has done to men, its made them weak and made them worthless cowards, to afraid to stand up for themselves even when they are clearly the one being wronged. Its rather depressing really.

These are men who have been told their whole lives about how women were more important and special and need to be listened to and catered to, etc., and they believed it all. Of course, when they (the guys) were in their 20s and their SMV was a fraction of the women's, they struggled to get a girl, and went the "nice guy" route of essentially being an "earning robot" for her and giving her attention when she wanted it, etc. They never understood their value as men (they were likely raised without a father in their life), and so they think the only way they can get a woman is to always give in and let her have her way. Of course, the women abuse them, and one day will leave him.

The men that woman actually desire would never tolerate such crap, and she knows it. But a lot of men believe the feminist propaganda that they've been taught ("the patriarchy" and "male privilege" and all that crap) and so they're weak. They're usually good guys overall, but they're weak, so they don't even try to win - they just appease and give in. It's pathetic.

For the past few decades we've been told what a bunch of patriarchal assholes we are, and all of the messaging that we've received since childhood has basically been all about encouraging men to go along with what women want. Of course a lot of guys do not, but many guys do. Especially those who are overly concerned with being "good" men and always "doing the right thing" in other people's eyes.

The guy who went to counselling probably did what a lot of women would tell him is the "mature", "adult" thing to do. American women in particular seem to think this way.

"Good" men are also more likely to be swayed by a woman's tears even if she did something wrong. They're more easily manipulated in general.

As a result of the constant bashing of men also what has happened to a lot of men is that they've simply lost their backbone. This leads to women respecting them less, which leads to a loss of attraction, which leads to cheating.

Since weak men lacking in confidence are unattractive, this means that those men probably also don't have many other options when they're single. Or maybe this is a chicken and the egg thing because if they did have other options maybe they'd grow a backbone. Men with other options wouldn't stay, they'd go find someone else.

Well, most of the time these guys have such low self-esteem that they think that they can't get another woman. In the case of the husband, if he could get custody of the kids and have a court order HER to pay child support, he is a fool for staying with her, but I can understand not wanting to be whacked with child support for kids that aren't even yours while having the mother play keep-away with them (not that I would do it even then- I definitely wouldn't raise some other guy's kids from an affair).

My ex boyfriend broke my heart into pieces. I didn’t actually find out about everything he had lied to me about until it was over. But I do know that at one point he admitted that his ex broke his heart. He said she cheated on him, then later on he accidentally admitted that he had begged her not to leave him even though she supposedly cheated.
