Girls, How can I tell my wife that I occasionally like to cross dress in private?

I've been married to my wife for 4 years now. She's the love of my life. But I've never been able to tell her that I like to cross dress when she is not around. It's something I've done for a long time. I just find it enjoyable to see what it would be like to get dressed up like a female. I know she's not going to understand. She thinks a guy who cross dresses is not attracted to women. I don't know if I'll ever be able to tell her. What should I do?

See a therapist and talk this out. I think it's important that your wife eventually know this, but you have to be able to cogently explain this to her.

Most actual transvestites are straight men who find crossdressing relaxing and pleasurable for a host of reasons. They do not want to be women nor do they have gender dysphoria. They like being men and are sexually heterosexual.

You might have to invite her to your therapy session and explain it in front of the therapist. There is a risk, you need to know. Your wife might not be able to accept this about you. You might have to leave this relationship.

If it comes to this, grieve and next time around, let your partner know earlier on. There are women who can understand this and not be threatened by it.

Be honest! Communication is key and if she really loves you then she will learn to accept it:)

I disagree. You can really love someone and not accept something like this about them. Might be a shock. Might disgust the person. They might not be able to get over it.
