Would you stay with a woman if she looks different with age?

My doctor is gorgeous and slim and his wife is obese, but was beautiful and skinny on their wedding day and they have been together over 30 years and she does not have her own career either, she is a full time house wife with adult kids. I assume he stayed with her because he is Chinese and in Chinese culture you do not divorce unless your being cheated on.

There may be more to the story. It's possible that she has an illness, or that having kids messed up her body or whatever. Many men will accept that if she's otherwise doing the right things: being a good mother and taking care of the husband when he comes home, and that's especially true if that extra weight is the result of bearing his children. I can only speculate - you probably don't know her medical history so I certainly can't know - it's probably that, but maybe she just let herself go and he stays with her for cultural reasons. Who can really say?

Looks will fade over time. We all get older and change. When there is a genuine care and love for a person that is what is real. I would not leave someone just because they put on weight over time. I would love that person for who they are and for the kind heart they have.

Well honestly life is painful as it is to maintain that perfection can be hard to some. You can leave them for a better good looking person but man we all have pros and cons this other women might be skinny and all that jazz but she is a ho3.. so I don't know

Not only do women change as they get older, so do men if we're talking about physical change. As long as the feelings and love are there why would anyone leave their partner for that reason?

I honestly wouldn't date someone who is obese or anorexic both are really unhealthy lifestyles and I wouldn't feel right knowing my significant other is literally harming themselves.
