How did you get over your crush?

4 years ago I met my dream girl she had it whatever it was it did it for me. I loved how she looked her personality her hobbies her smile her family everything about her. The problem was when I met her I was so inexperienced that I talked her out of liking me. Things were never the same I came off too weak. I still have this huge crush on this girl she has moved on and it is dating and sleeping with other people. I tried to hate and resent her but loving feelings for her kept coming back. How did you guys get over your crush?

You don't "get over" a girl like that. You never forget her. She always has a place in your heart.

But you go on with your life and, when you can talk to a new girl without constantly thinking about the old girl, you start dating again. And, over time, you think about her less often, the knife sticking in your gut loses its sharp edge, and you eventually start developing feelings for someone new. A the relationship you have with the new girl will be even better - in an objective way - because you are more mature and experienced, and you will be more appreciative of the one who stands before you rather than the one who never wanted you.

she's the one that got away. I have that one guy too, a childhood crush. When im dating someone, he hardly crosses my mind but when im single, he often does. I realize ill always feel for him until we have a sit down talk and i confess. But until then ill let him continue to be on the back of my mind

Does she know how you feel? He and i ended abruptly because he heard about my feelings through word of mouth and the person over exaggerated. We were only like 10 years old. I definitely want to be the one to tell him and talk it out. But I've let 15 years go by 🤦‍♀️ haven't talked to him since 2012 and that was an awkward moment of our parents trying to force us to hug it out

Yeah I told her how I felt but I was the over doing it and complicating this relationship it was my fault it should simple like have been hang out have fun hook up. I fell apart over time and god weak and needy I never experienced this weakness to any woman in my life.

But no seriously I had to face the music and realize itll never happen. So I physically moved on... mentally I still think about him but I'm pretty sure I'm better off with my new guy🧡

Okay first it was An innocent relationship we met in class and she was the one who liked me so licked me so she got my social media account account and gave me her phone number.

The thing was over time I became weak and needy over texting overpursuing To the point where I think I just numbed her. You know when you water a plant too much you kill it that's what I did
