My boyfriend of almost a year had the nerve to call my son ugly?

My boyfriend of almost a year told me my son was ugly. He said how can he take me seriously when I have dated a man who was ugly. You’re son will never get a girl. What hurts me more than anything too is my son has mental health issues of anxiety and depression and I’ve worked so hard to make him feel loved and accepted. I’m so hurt and told him this and he refused to apologize at all. We love together and I haven’t spoke to him all day. I can’t believe he is such a nasty person. The kicker is I’m pregnant with his baby and scared to death he will verbally insult his own child. He already said he would tell the kid their are ugly and not give them false hope. Thoughts anyone? This is disturbing me to my very core!

You made a very bad choice being with a guy like that sorry to say and now you are pregnant by him? I’m sorry but you are pretty much doomed , the thing is he will love and adore his child with you but he will never love and adore your son and your son might resent you for picking a guy like him. But it just depends on how he treats your son? Even though he thinks your son os ugly how does he treat your son? If he treats your son with respect then it might not be that bad. Step parenting is very hard for a lot of people , Why I don’t introduce my kids to any girl until I feel for sure she is in it for the long haul . But the main reason that he is saying your son is ugly is probably cuz he doesn’t like the fact that you had a child with another guy , might stem down to jealousy , most guys are very territorial like that and hate knowing their girl has kids with someone else so they despise them for the most part. Most guys don’t like picturing their girls having sex with other guys and having a child is walking proof that they did , Just like some girls don’t like that a guy has kids already , So it’s hard finding someone that actually accepts someone with kids already , Why there are so many single Moms out there having trouble looking for love , It’s a turn off to most guys sadly to say , Single Dads have the same problem as well but I don’t think it’s as bad as single moms in my opinion , Cuz Girls are more accepting of children then guys are. , So to find someone that is really going to accept your child is hard to find , in most cases if they do accept your child it’s more them just talking out their asses just to appease you. Why I think it’s best for a single mom to find a guy that has kids already.

Exactly. His mentality.. “well if they are I’m not going to lie to him/her”. It’s also soooo ironic that he is so into his looks. He thinks as soon as he takes off his covid mask and a woman sees his face, it’s game over. He said, “wait till they (women) see his face.” he thinks he’s that good looking. I don’t place value on looks. And it’s not that I’m unattractive either. I’ve been told enough in my life im very pretty, but I’m the opposite. I have never dated a man for his looks. I said, can you imagine meeting a woman for the first time and saying “I’m interested in your, but your mentally challenged son is ugly?” I told him I don’t feel the same about him anymore. He doesn’t get it. He’s walking outside in the rain and I texted him that, and he said “it’s raining”.

At my age, I didn’t think I could still have kids. And after over a decade of never getting pregnant again after my son, I’m still shocked I’ve found myself pregnant.
