Lied about my age on twitch and now my girlfriend thinks I’m the age I said I was while I stream how do I tell her my real age?

Ok so basically I stream and I thought that the best way to seem more relatable was to be younger. I’m 26 and I said I was 21 and I met my girlfriend through discord in a twitch server. She started watching me and because of that she thinks I’m 21. The thing that makes it worse is that because she’s always thought that I made a whole life around me being born in 2000 instead of 1995. Like I didn’t lie about any of the things that happened to me I just pushed the dates up 5 years. How do you go about telling her my real age? I’m going to meet her for the first time in 2 weeks and like I’m wondering if I should tell her then or if I should keep it to myself. I have no idea what to do or say. Also my girlfriend is 20 she says she likes older guys but I’m so scared of losing her. I have no idea what to do.

Just tell her straight up. It’ll come out eventually and it’ll only be worse the longer you put it off. She’ll either care or she won’t and that’s up to her to decide. You haven’t even met yet, so it’s better to do it now before it becomes more serious don’t you think?

Like I said, It’ll only be worse the longer you put it off. I understand it’s not easy but you just have to say it asap and get it over and done with. It’s better she knows who she’s actually talking to rather then the version you created so neither of you are wasting your time.

At this point you should tell her the truth. You didn't lie by a whole lot of years but you still told a lie. Apologize to her. If she forgives you then don't ever lie to her again.

Just tell her that you’re extremely shy about your age

When you start with a single lie it makes a person question everything else they have heard. It really depends on how forgiving and understanding the woman is.
