Probably testing you.
Or just cheap.
I never got my wife a ring.
Pointless waste of money in my view.
Good. I would be just happy being proposed. I wish. Too many of us never get out of the girlfriend stage and the OP is here complaining about the ring being cheap. Wow...
If I were here, I would be happy and even cry tears of joy.
If I were her, I would be happy and even cry tears of joy.
Unfortunately it usually takes time for women to learn this. It's pretty expected behavior, as she is still young.
I would have to add is that women need to pick better men. No hooking up or casual dating.
Tell a guy before the first date, that you are looking for a husband. No sex for 2 months. And expect marriage in 12months after started dating.
Of course all that can be demanded, if you have a clean past and are feminine. Otherwise no 😗
My ex boyfriend who denied my happiness after leading me on for years met me as a virgin (I was innocent in every single way) and feminine. Later on I found out, he was the sick person that scams people.
I've only been with one man and my current boyfriend knows we're dating with intention. He knows I'm not dating for the fun of it. It feels insulting when I hear of women with extensive past (those that actually slept around and were the party girl types; the opposite of me) get engaged too; the man knows and he still proposes. Even they still find a man that proposes. This makes me feel frustrated to be honest.
Life is not fair.
You did good and tried but got played, of course should have gotten out sooner, but can't change the past now.
You shouldn't feel too frustrated to be honest. No man of quality would pick such women with low quality.
Most of these women settle, to have kids with a "provider" man, while the "chads" they actually do want, just used them.
And many go after "chads" again once their kids are old enaugh.
So its not really anything to be envious about.
It's funny how most people, men and women. Take more time and effort to pick their schools than what they invest into picking the right partner.
I wouldn’t care
You want to waste money on ring?
I'd feel like I made the right decision if I saw her make this thread.
ROFLMAO
Why do you care how much the ring cost? Surely it's the sentiment behind it that counts.
If it's turning green that is not good period.
Yeah, it's the sentiment behind the Cracker Jack ring that counts. LOL
@Lliam A Cracker Jack ring doesn't require going to a store to purchase it.
maybe it's a part of the plan. if so, I think I know exactly what he's doing. if so--I ain't ruining it.
Yeah, great way to filter gold-diggers.
@Squaresquirrel or something else.
Just because your fiancée has $50,000 doesn't mean he's going to get you a big gift. It's love that counts, not the value of the gift.
If you're focused on the money aspect of it you do not love him and you should not be even thinking about getting married. Grow Up..
return it to him... tell him he if really valued you, he would give you Junk as a token of Love
give him a cracker jack band
Doesn't matter how much he spent its meaning behind it
I think if your prioritizing the cost of you engagement ring... you shouldn't get married
A ring pop would've been better.
why should men buy the ring? I thought you wanted equality
Its not about cheap its about whats affordable and reasonable being mature
No problem.
Just buy him cheap gifts.
candy ring
How much was the ring you got for him?
It's the person who proposes that presents the ring as a symbol of their sincerity. How would a person be prepared to exchange rings if they didn't know they were going to be proposed to?
People exchange wedding rings, not engagement rings.
How do you know how much the ring cost?
50k is not a lot of money. And I think diamond is hype. I would rather spend it for honeymoon.
Moissanite is good
Sounds like he made a bad choice.
green's a nice colour
Everyone bought into your troll. Good job.
Your concern about this is VERY telling. Poor guy.
It feels disrespectful in my opinion
Them silicon are better.
$50k isn't a lot of money...
He would not be my fiance..
If it is turning green he paid to much for it….
🤣👋🏽
I think "Oh god am I a gold digger?"
Adoration and Love ❤️
Goes beyond the ring …
When you’re married take that 50k and replace it.
Use until it's not usable.
You are string and independent, buy your own ring.
Isn't it the thought that counts?
Hmmmmmm he can do better than that that's for sure
Take the hint...
he doesn't value you
I would be annoyed.
