What you think of people who have kids before they're married? Do you think it's fair for the kids or is more normal now with accidental pregnancy?

What's important is they see the relationship as strong and lasting.
My parents got my big brother before they were married, and they're still together to this day.

My brother got his first child before he married his life as well.

And I'm just asking... what does the marriage do in whether or not it's good for the child? That has nothing to do with whether the child is brought up well or not or if the parents stay together or if the relationship is good or not.

I had one kid before marriage. Never really thought of it as a big deal considering we stayed together. Things would have been super messy if we didn't tho

Low key actually easier doing it alone since there is no one to fight about what type of parenting styles and like how to raise them. I'm saying messy like co parenting would have been messy

There are very few "accidental" pregnancies. We know what causes pregnancy and hwe know how to avoid pregnancy.

People should be in a stable marriage before they have children. That gives their children the best chance for success.

Staistics have shown that kids raised in a two parent household are a lot more successful in life. It is just common sense. Having a kid just to get a bigger welfare check or to have somebody to keep you company is really a rotten thing to do to a kid.

As long as the kids are in a loving family with 2 parents that take care of them, I don’t see an issue here. Marriage is just a formality at that point.

I think it depends on the stability of their relationship (stability, or the lack thereof can also be lacking in a marriage). It's the stability that kids deserve and need.

Marriage is a legal condition that may or may not be advantageous to a couple. If a woman is planning to stay home with a man's children, while he works outside to support them, in my opinion she should insist on marriage to protect herself financially. If both are earning an income, then it may be advantageous for them to not marry and continue to file income as individuals.
