We had argument cause she added my friend on snapchat. Now We haven't spoken in 2 weeks?

Hi,
So about 3 weeks ago I told this girl that I liked her and she told me she liked me too but wanted to slow things down. I agreed and told her to reach out to me when she was ready.

A week goes by and she contacted me eager and happy to talk. We had a good conversation and it ended well. The following day my bestfriend and I spoke, and he told me she added him on snapchat. She didn't speak to him however.

It left me wondering then what this girl was doing, as I see she also likes his instagram posts. Now, this girl likes a lot of guys posts on instagram, which In my opinion is not a problem or a big deal. Nearly ever girl does this. When I confronted her about this I asked her did she like my friend. She said like is a strong word, I don't know him. He just looks nice. I then asked her did she add him on snapchat to which she said yes, but that she didn't talk.
I took this quite negatively and just told her that I thought she was different from other girls. She responded with ;
Am I like them?
Just because I added?
Anyway that doesn't justify how I am.
But OK.

We haven't spoken since 11 days ago.
The problem is that I really like this girl and I think I overreacted. I'm not sure though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We spoke and went as follows;

Finally after 11 days I decided I was stupid and stubborn enough and reached out to apoligise. I got cold feet, but she knew I was online and typed a? In snapchat to start the conversation and to let me know she was there.

I said:
I know we haven't talked in a bit. I am very stubborn and stupid at times. I was focusing on the wrong thing and I misread the situation. I wish I could take back what I've said.

I'm sorry.

She responded;
Hi, everything you said I knew wasn't true about me, it's not because I talk to your friends, that I'm just like girls, I know my character.

I responded with;
I got it very wrong. I sincerely apologise.

End.

I know I've fucked up.
Is time my only chance now, or is there anything else I can do. I'd like to know from if you think there's anything else todo on my end?

You certainly did overreact. Getting upset that she added someone on social media is immature. As you’ve even pointed out, lots of girls do this.

She didn’t even indicate to you she liked him. In fact, she said she didn’t even know him. I don’t see this going well if you are this insecure at the beginning of a courtship.

Not talking for 11 days? This is the epitome of self sabotage. Why? She likely takes this to mean you aren’t interested any longer.

@Seanken199 It is no bother at all. I think your best bet is to send a reply that just reiterates that you are sorry and it was your fault. That is really the best and only thing you can do. Let me give you a template. You can change as needed.

"Thanks for messaging me back. I know I screwed up. I really didn't mean to be like that to you. If you can find it in your heart to give me another chance, I promise that I will be a better version of myself. You deserve that. If not, I apologize again and hope that some day you can forgive me."

You get what I am on about. You don't have to use those exact words, but you can see what you need to do. Not knowing fully the situation, you or her I can only give you the idea of what to say. I hope it helps.

The problem with modern generation is that we spent so much time and effort in focusing into the wrong details. I personally think that the girl did nothing wrong as she already confessed that she liked you so you don't have to worry about her wanting to do something with your friend. I think she just wanted to add your friend cause she wanted to be nice. Why do you pay such attention to whom she gives a like anyway?

Totally overreacted based on what you said happened. If you want to talk to her reach out to her again instead of being stubborn. Your more likely to regret not reaching out then reaching out. Maybe try apologizing too.

You are definitely overreacting, so she added a guy and didn't talk to him, you're bent out of shape over it because it was your friend. You've a lot of growing up to do.

Re update: I don't know if there is anything else you can do to make things the way they were, as she has seen a side if you she doesn't like. Stay in contact with her and see how it goes. Above all else learn a valuable lesson here and grow as a person.

You were out of line to "confront" a girl you only have hopes of starting something with. Add to that, verbally attacking her character. Followed by 11 days of silence? I'm glad you apologized, you owed her that. I'd be shocked if you even make it to the friend zone.
