I am not asking if you can find a partner for yourself...
I am not saying whether you asked or offered... let's just say your ex is up for finding your next partner... will you allow it?

. I should have said "potential partner". Because that's what I had I mind anyway... lol... NOT an automatic boyfriend... which is why in the comments I said you still had the chance to get to know the person or to accept or reject.

because nobody else can replace an actual genuine bond within two people, and nobody else would know better about it other than me... and the person I would be bonding with

for someone to introduce you to new people, that could make more sense... but to "find you a partner" would be an excess and the wrong approach

It's not a big deal... you don't know a person until you know them lol... also I would decide whether I like this person or not both initially... and after I get to know them... its like arranged marraige (unlike steotypicsl arranged marriage, you can still date the person for a fre months before marraige )... because you trust your parents.. you trust your ex (with whom you left amicably).. andyou trust your friends
