Girls, when getting a fwbs, does he have boyfriend "potential" in your mind?

Like before feelings develop or anything, when you first meet or "arrange" this, are you open to the possibility of it ever potentially becoming more going into it, or is it like a "friend zone", when he'll never be more than a fb?

Never say never.

Sex only and nothing will change that, even if feelings were to develop.

Conciously I don't see it as a potential boyfriend so I am less likely to develope feelings, because I keep some distance for the relation to evolve. Like I don't want to chit chat (so he is often on my mind), and I don't want to plan much ahead than the next meeting maximum, which I would when I normally date.
But I cannot control it completely, so if I get feelings it is an option unless there are other reasons for not going serious, like different plans for the future and values of what a relationship contains.
