I believe both people stay loyal when they believe the person satisfies a desire or purpose in their lives that they do not want others to satisfy. Like Priscilla Chan is smart enough to help Zuckerberg so he stays loyal to her. McKenzie Bezos is able to handle high pressure situations so Jeff Bezos stayed with her for over two decades. Jill Biden is hard working and independent and Joe Biden needs an independent woman because he is too busy working to take care of his wife the way ordinary husbands do. Hailey Bieber is easy to control and drama free and allows Justin Bieber to calm down when he has had a stressful day.

Well my ex pretty much had nothing when we started dating. I just graduated and was starting my own career, he was a drop out and only had a part time job at a daycare. He didn’t have a car so I let him use mine (which he crashed lol). I let him stay at my place rent free, bc he wanted to go back to college and I wanted to support him. He was very underweight and lanky but he was super funny and a great guy to be around with and he made me happy.

Eventually he finally graduated from college as an engineer, I helped him find a job and helped him practice his interviews, bought his suit, etc. He got the job, eventually he got promoted and made a lot more money, while I got sacked thanks to covid. I got depressed and had no income. Then he left me bc he said I was weighing him down lol

So what I’m trying to say is, you make a very good point and there’s a lot of truth in what you said.
