Accessories can be nice if worn discreetly.

I am not a fan of excessive jewelry nor of some of the strings/ropes/cables that people wear on their ankles or wrists. I personally don't find they enhance anything. The more of that kind of "jewelry", the more it is difficult to keep those accessories clean. Furthermore, I am not sure that they are indeed hygienic on the long run.

I do not wear any jewelry, nor do I wear a watch. I somehow feel constricted by those accessories. If I need to check for the time of day, then I just look around me. There are so many time machines and reminders that our time on earth is counted that I can rely on. One is never further than 1 minute from the next clock, timepiece, church steeple or public place that displays the time of day.

Also, I find that the more jewelry one wears, the higher the risk to get mugged in unsafe areas.

A discreet watch, ring or earrings are nice but one must not exaggerate, just like with everything in the world.

Depends on the occasion. For some events in my culture, it is normal to have a few pieces of jewelry on my wrist. Normal day? Not so much. The only thing I wear to work typically is my Apple Watch. I work in a medical environment so it is pretty conservative dress. This includes jewelry.

Even going out to a nice dinner, I don't wear much jewelry. Sometimes a bracelet or a and necklace, aside from my earrings. I don't tend to overdo it. Now, there are certain things that I do wear multiple pieces. As mentioned, those are more cultural things like wedding in my country.

As for my partner, he doesn't wear anything other than a nice watch. This is pretty much what he wears daily and the only piece of jewelry he does wear. He owns a few nice watches and switches them up but never more than just that.
