Does rebuilding a car with your partner sound fun to you?

Im talking about taking in an older car and working on it together little by little in the garage over time such as new paint, new engine and interior rebuild with new carpet and such.

No I'd rather just buy a nice new one I know isn't going to constantly break down or cost a fortune in spare parts. I get some people like restoring classic cars but spending weeks hunting down the "right" bulb doesn't appeal to me.
I went to one classic car rally where one guy had fitted a piece from the wrong year and it was like he had raped a baby by the abuse he got..

Sounds like a fun project. I’d be interested, though I have no experience with rebuilding cars. I’ve been to plenty of car shows to admire the work that others have put in.

I just inherited my grandparents 69 Karmann Ghia. It's in a turd condition and makes an excellent project.

Was so looking forward to working on it with my wife. She's like, "honey it doesn't even have rear seat belts. This thing should be crushed and destroyed".

If my partner was a woman who actually knows their way around mechanics then yeah that’d actually be pretty fun to rebuild an old classic together.

Im currently rebuilding my old truck with my dad and am in the process of learning all the mechanics how to fix everything and such it’s pretty fun.

I suppose in my case it would be writing code. I'd be willing to try it, but working with my girlfriend doesn't sound like it would be a good idea.
