What would you do if your wife of 20 years abandoned you after you were diagnosed with cancer?

This did not happen to me. It happened to a childhood friend of mine. Someone who I knew since we were eleven. He had a golf ball sized tumor in his stomach, and started chemo. Doc says he has about a 90% chance of recovery, no surgeries yet though as it's still too big. His wife literally told him "I am sorry I just cannot see being with someone as sick as you for the long term." and she left him.

This friend needs your support, spend time with him or get a friend or associate to keep him company. Buy him CDs of meditation or religious music and get him to write letters to people, it will help him recover.
